Hey~o, it is indeed I, back from the dead! I was wondering if you'd be willing to join the roleplay I'm planning out currently. It's right here.
I do apologise from disappearing from the Tales of the Echo roleplays I was a part of, too. There was all sorts of stuff going on in my life at the time, and, ugh. Everything has quieted down now, so I'm hopefully going to get active on this wiki once more.
I think this might be a turning point where Masako starts going down the wrong path, and where, time and time again, the Fallen Knight will appear to try and stop her from repeating history.
How would you feel about the Fallen Knight becoming a temporary ally from time to time though, knowing that assisting the group could lead to her possibly being erased from history with no way to keep Masako in check?
That sounds pretty good. It actually lines up with Season 3, where I plan for Masako to take a focus, like Saren did for this season. This is meant to be a turning point for a lot of the characters, and I think it would make sense for Masako to be affected by it. Plus the interaction between Delta and the Fallen Knight would be rather interesting.
Well, technically speaking, there are two reasons as to why she maybe couldn't. The first being that she has the same runes as Leah, which cancels magic out. The problem with that idea though is I don't know how well it would affect Orochi, since the rune covers anything in the body. Plus Orochi is a stronger spell than anything Leah has at this moment in time, so Orochi in theory could even overpower the rune.
The one that might make more sense would be that someone is keeping Natalie and Orochi from doing anything. It's important to note that both Destruction and Diety, the meta of destiny are influencing this moment, in fact this is the biggest move Destruction himself has made thus far, and considering he is the 'final boss' of the series, he's incredibly powerful and might be able to stop Natalie from doing anything. This is what he is already doing with Trinity's Phoenix Soul and Sedna's Dragon spirit. That being said, while Trinity's Phoenix Soul is probably equal in power to Orochi, I don't know if they work the same way, so I can't say with for sure if that's the case.
The last thing that could be the case is that Madness is falling into the world. With the paradox that was caused by Masako and Lexi traveling into different times, there is finally enough chaos in the world to start causing Madness to become a problem. It's possible that Madness, and by extention Black Blood is keeping Orochi away, since we're about to learn that Black Blood causes Insanity or Madness, and Madness keeps fear away. Since there is no fear, there is nothing for Orochi to feed off of.
Part of me wants to have her future self return to the past from the distant future, where she is manipulated into believing that the only way to atone for her actions is to destroy herself.
Could I throw in a reference to it somewhere in this scene?
Funny that you mention that, I actually sent Masako there with that exact idea in mind. Yeah, do it.
Also, since Time isn't really posting in 2(A) do you mind having Natalie take over as the lead character there? We still need to find Clarent and neither of the past and future sections are going to find it.
