Hello there. You've won both this month's Featured User and Featured Article. Well done. But this only means you will be burdened with two interviews by me. So I will be waiting for you in Discord whenever you're available.
I mean, it's pretty much the same as last time. There's a plothole, though; if there are gods watching, why didn't they remove the orb that gave him powers in the first place? And if Ominous has empathy/emotion manipulation, why doesn't he just make everyone happy and content all the time?
It could be because when an orb is given to a mortal, it couldn't be removed. Also, the reason why Ominous couldn't do that is because his powers aren't strong enough to do this and need the power of the Chaos Emeralds in order to increase them. These are just suggestions, so don't take them too seriously. Sorry about that, though.
First thing I'm noticing is his power having no limit. You should finish the section, because being able to control people's emotions should theoretically allow someone to take over the planet with ease.
Also, something else - when you're making Ominous' past, it makes me wonder why no one in his early life was a decent human being. Why were his parents abusive? Why didn't students help him? It just makes me wonder. Plus, why is he in trouble, but everything the bullies did before doesn't make them criminals? I like his motive, but these are the main issues I'm finding.
First, His backstory was made this way in order to give him a justified reason to think that everyone in the omniverse and beyond, including himself, was evil or had evil in them that needed to be rectified.
And second, can you give me some suggestions on how to limit his powers to control not just emotions, but morality and intentions? Also what do you mean by motive?
He, judging from his quotes, can act like a child when his ideals are not believed. This leads me to believe that he's really coming with his plan to hide the truth - he's just really guilty about doing what he did the kid.
I have the same opinion on his personality as I do his motive.
I know that the Ominous from Sonic Overload (Or "Bad" Ominous) wasn't that redeemable, but what about the "Anti-villain" Ominous (Or the one that I've already wrote a sympathetic personality for)? Do you think he should be redeem or not, and if so, why or why not? What do you think would be a fitting punishment for him if he shouldn't be redeemed? Thanks for the reply if you wanted to or already did, sorry if I bothered or upset anyone, and have a great day.
