Mephiles is a character in the Nazo's Adventures series by MewtwoLucario. He is an anthropomorphic crystal hedgehog who is the main antagonist of Chapter 1.
Appearance[]
Mephiles is an anthropomorphic crystal hedgehog who, for unknown reasons, has no visible mouth, nose, or feet. His eyes have a red sclera and green irises.
Mega Mephiles simply turns Mephiles' colors a darker shade and makes him bigger.
Powers and Abilities[]
Mephiles is able to take the appearance of anyone, but only if he stands in their shadow for a certain amount of time. He can also use several Chaos-like powers, such as the Dark Chaos Lance and the Dark Chaos Orb. If he uses the Negative Power of the Chaos Emeralds, he can create clones of himself through shadows. Mephiles is, appearantly, immortal, since after Nazo and his friends defeated him he didn't dissolve into energy, unlike Chaos and the Biolizard.
Personality[]
Unlike most other villains, Mephiles is evil just because he likes destruction. He is a cold, cruel, and ruthless villain who has no compassion to anyone. (Not counting Chaos and the Biolizard.) He has a twisted sense of humor, making him a psychotic individual. Mephiles does, however, have a few manners, as he bowed to Nazo and his friends before facing them in battle, and congratulated them on their victory after they defeated him.
History[]
Early life[]
Mephiles was originally created under the name "Solaris". However, Solaris was split into two halves: Iblis, its raw power, and Mephiles, its conscience, mind, and will. Mephiles was sealed inside the Scepter of Darkness soon after, but broke out and began taking over Mobius. He captured everyone who tried standing up to him, but soon his power was threatened when a weird silvery-white hedgehog and a robot hedgehog started on a quest to stop him.
Theme Song[]
With Me is Mephiles' theme song. It was originally the final boss theme for Sonic and the Black Knight. It was performed by All Ends. It was remixed by Crush 40 as one of the songs on the Face to Faith: Sonic and the Black Knight Vocal Trax album.
