The author of Mackenzie the Tiger/Channel Mobius considers this page to be unfinished. As such, some sections may change.

Mackenzie the Tiger CM App Mackenzie Anticerdes (also known as Mack, or Kenzie), is a wealthy 16-year-old martial artist-in-training. Mack’s carefree and joyful demeanor shows that he always tries to be a heroic figure, and whenever you’re in trouble, you can count on Mac and his shield to be at your side.

Appearance[]

Physical Description[]

Mackenzie Anticerdes is 3’10 as a young adult, about average height for a Mobian. He doesn’t weigh that much either, due to an excessive amount of exercise for training. He has a two-pack underneath his clothing, and though it is only noticeable if he flexes, Mac also has healthy muscles.

Mack has light brown-colored eyes that have little bits of orange sprinkled throughout, making it look more orange than brown. His fur also has a brown tint, but it because more orange when it’s hot out. His skin looks Spanish, as if he were a human, and his tail looks like a fusion between a monkey’s and a tiger’s with white fur at the end, almost as if it resembled a banana. His nose is small, black, and triangular.

Mack’s ears are naturally perked up, and it is common for them to be moving, even when Mack isn’t doing anything. They have white fur inside, though looking at him you probably wouldn’t notice due to the slick, bangless, light tan hair he has that goes down the sides of his head.

Clothing[]

Mack wears many different outfits, which is a result of his intense love of shopping. He also gives them different “codenames” as a silly quirk of his. “Coolsual” is when he wears a red-orange short-sleeved jacket that he purpose leaves unzipped to reveal a black shirt saying “DA BEST” in white, bolded letters. Along with those, Mack wears denim jean shorts that barely cover his knees and black tennis shoes.

“Edgelord” is when he wears a costume that he got at a convention once and loved it ever since. It is a yellow cloak with side pockets, a zipper, and dark golden lining on the edges, again left unzipped to show a blank white shirt with a belt worn diagonally over it (though Mack admits it is useless). Mack wears it with comfortable black pants and orange basketball shoes.

“MMAI” is what he calls the outfit that is similar to Max Irvaron’s casual one. He wears a long-sleeved white vest with four pockets in the front and two in back, along with buttons and Mack’s name on it in black on one of the front pockets. Along with this outfit, Mack wears black shorts meant for sports and grey Jordans.

Personality[]

Contrary to both of his other counterparts, one being overwhelmingly sarcastic and the other being overwhelmingly random, Mack is focused and fun. Though he has his fair share of reckless moments, Mack is usually shown to show more common sense when working with a group.

To empathize, Mack tends to do what he’s supposed to do when set with a goal… how he achieves that goal is another story. If he was playing a soccer game and he didn’t know how to play and he saw everyone kicking the ball, he’d probably pick up the ball and chuck it into the goal.

However, Mack is not stupid. He is able to figure out things without assistance, due to being trained to be self-dependent early in life. Though you may assume that he’d be very quiet and logical due to this, Mack is very easygoing and optimistic, always trying to lighten the mood.

Mack likes to joke around a lot, though it has to do more with friends than taunting adversaries. When he has something snarky he has to say to someone he doesn’t know all too well, he likes to keep his thoughts in his head (though he is prone to slipping up once and twice and making his competitor angry or annoyed).

Mack is extremely extroverted, never being quiet unless asked to be - and even then, it can be a challenge. As a result of this, Mack likes to spend his time with other people so that he can conversate and enjoy their company.

When something frustrates Mack, he tries to send “signs” of his aggravation but he won’t actually say anything and ignore whoever is annoying him. However, if pushed too far, Mac will most likely give tongue-lashings and rants. If you bring up a touchy subject (like calling his parents lackluster or attacking his interests only to make him feel bad) it is likely that Mac will get physical.

Some may think that when confronted with danger, Mack is only hiding his fear - they would be incorrect. He likes danger and stares at it with a smile on his face - he loves the thrill of not knowing what is going to happen. The more likely he’ll die doing something, the more he’ll want to try it.

If it boiled down to whether Mack was very brave or incredibly reckless, he is much closer to incredibly reckless - he doesn’t know when too far is too far with his physical actions as a result of his parenting mixtures.

Mack doesn’t like not having answers - he loves investigating deeper, especially if he’s not supposed to. Though he has yet to release a major discovery to the public, he is currently (trying to be) studying how his magic works and releasing the projection of your chi to civilians.

History[]

It’s a Hard-Knock Life for Me[]

Mackenzie Anticerdes was born in the USA to the all-American Lucy Nort and the half-Spanish Diego Anticerdes an only child. His father Diego had an extremely wealthy grandfather and a deceased father, so he and his sibling/rival Luciana Anticerdas (who got married and divorced but kept the last name) got their inheritance after his grandfather had died and had sent money to them. Because of the money, Diego used it on religious functions - donating it to a church, to missionaries so that they could travel, etc. Because Diego was so religious, Mack lived an incredibly restricted life.

If Mack messed up, there was a ⅓ chance that his father would use a Bible verse to make him feel guilty. His mother approved of the way he was being raised, which Mack thought was ridiculous. He was known at school - and he actually agreed with the nickname - as “Jesus Kid” because of his parents.

Now Mack didn’t hate his parents - in fact, he was worrying too much about what others thought. His father was literally a saint, and he was a very kind person, but Mack worried he’d be tied to end up as the same fate. He wanted to become something more, like a member of the USA Olympic team. However, because he was so uncomfortable with speaking up about negative thoughts, Mack’s parents never learned of what he thought of their life.

Mack probably would’ve stayed, hoping but never doing, until when he was fifteen years old when his aunt Luciana decided to visit the Hartley household. There was a lot of tension when she arrived - though she and Mack’s mother got along great, Diego and Luciana hadn’t left each other on good terms. Luciana apparently asked Lucy if she could stay for a week to see their lives, and Lucy agreed, stressing Diego out.

For that week, Luciana took careful notice of Mack. She noticed how uncomfortable the boy felt, seeing how Mack was destined for adventure and not preaching. Mack didn’t know that his aunt was watching his behavior, but after the trip, she gave the family an insane offer - she could take Mack and transform him into something more.

Every Anticerdes in the house was surprised. Mack thought that Luciana was going to transform him into a mini version of his father, Lucy thought Luciana would be like a second mother to him, and Diego thought she’d only teach Mack invaluable things to do in life, and make him make all sort of mistakes in life. Luciana, seeing everyone’s surprise, explained further.

She proposed that she would take Mack with her to Missouri and homeschool him, for she was a professor (which Mack didn’t disagree with, because he didn’t have all that many friends). She said she would turn him into a star - she had her own TV show on DW10, and she wanted him to join. Though Diego fought against it to a ridiculous degree, he was outvoted 2 to 1 and Mack left.

Beginning of the Best[]

When Mack was introduced to DW10, he was amazed. His aunt had a show called ¡¡¡Presión Extrema!!! (Spanish for “Extreme Pressure) and it was a challenge show. It had all different types of challenges - physical ones (like Wipeout), cooking ones (like any competition on the Cooking Channel) and mental ones (like Brain Games, but a test). Luciana told him that you’d have to be 17 or up to join, depressing Mack, but since she felt bad that she invited him and he couldn’t join right away, she introduced him to something else.

She showed Mack a secret he had never seen before - a highly-advanced version of virtual reality. She said this took lots of focus and a clear mind to master, so Mack wasn’t the best. Since he obviously wanted to succeed, Luciana gave him magnetic metal bands in-game that would only activate when he focused (so she put him in a video game, and he lost when he lost focus). First, to work on his stamina, she gave him 10-pound ones - after that, she got cocky and gave him 100-pound bands, which Mac could barely stand with. Going back to 50, Luciana tried and tried and tried to prepare Mack for two years, focusing his chi and agility.

However, by Mack’s second year of training, when he was 16 and a half, DW10 rebooted, and it took ¡¡¡Presión Extrema!!! with it. Luciana and Mack were devastated, but when they soon learned of Channel Mobius, their spirits were alive again. Mack could now lift 150 pounds with his chi, and learned how to manifest it into a portal. Luciana began training him again while keeping her show, but when she learned of the competition, she didn’t waste any time. She taught Mack how to use a circular hand-shield called Bromista and sent him on his way (she couldn’t go because she still had to maintain funding for her show).

Fighting Style & Statistics[]

Fighting Style[]

Mack is good with physical attacks, preferring kicks above everything else. Though Luciana tried to teach him a fusion of Muay Thai and Krav Maga, but he was never good at though, so he just rolls with the beat…. Literally. To keep him on his feet, Mack likes to listen to music as he battles, for both convenience and entertainment.

Mack can create yellow portals my manifesting his chi in different places. The largest distance he can teleport is about half a football a football field. Mack likes to use this in wacky ways, such as creating a portal above his head, sticking his head into it, and headbutting his opponent from behind.

Mack uses a small brown shield, resembling Homura’s from the Puella Magi Madoka Magica series, but with a golden spiral design in the middle. It is very small, and it allows Mack to move quickly without worrying about it. It may look like a small shield that is only good for defending Mack, but it has some hidden abilities.

The spiral in the middle of the shield absorbs energy when it is attacked (though this ability isn’t useful if it doesn’t have enough). When it starts to glow red, then it transfers energy to Mack and strengthens him (statistics-wise, about a +1 boost to everything). However, it only lasts for five seconds.

Along with that, Mack can change the wrist that holds the shield with his chi and the magnetic metal band. By putting his middle and ring finger down on the hand he wants the shield to switch to, the shield will go there, allowing him to use the shield almost telekinetically (at least, that’s what it looks like).
