Luigi New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe

Luigi Linguno.

Luigi Linguino is a character featured in the AngieYaz/RoseOfSharon reboot of the Sonic Underground television series, emigrated from the Mario video game series. He is a former plumber who resides on Tinoko. Luigi is Mario Linguino's younger, taller twin brother.

He is voiced by Charles Martinet.

Physical description[]

Luigi wears a green hat with an "L" symbol. He wears a long-sleeved green shirt and blue overalls on the inside. Luigi is a fair-skinned, tall human with a slim face. He has short brown hair and a dark brown mustache. He has bright blue eyes and wears white gloves and brown shoes.

Personality traits[]

Luigi is a heroic, kind and sensitive character. Luigi is optimistic, cheerful, shy and kind-hearted like his Brother, but unlike Mario is most shy, fearful and can be goofy and naive at times, Luigi aspires to be like his brother Mario.

He tends to chicken out of situations that are beyond his capabilities.

History[]

Luigi's story begins the very day that Sonic and his siblings were christened. Luigi and his family had come all the way from Kinoko to present the royal family with gifts. At one point, he even kissed baby Sonic on his forehead, finding him adorable. A year later, however, Doctor Robotnik took over, forcing the Linguino family to return home to Kinoko.

Fourteen years later, Luigi called Sonic and his siblings, asking them if they found any clues as to their parents' whereabouts.

Trivia[]

  • While his name is Luigi Mario in official Nintendo material, his last name in the Sonic Underground reboot is Linguino. This is a play on linguine, a type of pasta.
