Knuckles is a fierce fighter with incredible strength and a variety of grappling moves. However, unlike most grapplers, the Red Devil of Angel Island is actually fairly mobile with relatively-decent movement speed. Furthering his mobility options is his Style Action, which lets him stay right on the opponent's face and keep him buffed up if used properly. Unlike other fighters in the roster, many of his moves can sport some super armor, meaning he won't be interrupted immediately, though still subject to damage on himself, should someone strike him while attacking - which only makes him a more dangerous opponent if one approaches him carelessly.
Unfortunately, as with all close-ranged combatants, Knuckles has very little in the way of playing defensively and will struggle against strong zoning most of the time. In addition, many of his grab specials can be blocked just as easily as other moves, and he is still fairly slow in comparison to other characters due to a long start-up on his forward dash. Not to mention, most of his damage potential lies in his usage of his Heat mechanic, meaning one will have to use it frequently to really bring in the pain.
Hotshot - [delayable]
Knuckles' Style Action, where he locks on to the opponent before charging at them with a powerful strike. Should it land, Knuckles then receives one stock of Heat, which allows him to use additional moves to follow-up his specials. In addition, a longer charge allows him to home in on the opponent faster and deal more damage on impact.

A Command Normal where Knuckles lets out a powerful blow that knocks the opponent right onto the wall.

A Command Normal where Knuckles rushes forward with a spinning attack performed in a drill-like fashion.
Wild Upper - +
Version - Knuckles grabs the opponent and knocks them into the air with an uppercut.
Version - Knuckles grabs the opponent and sends them flying into the air with a powerful uppercut.
Version - Knuckles grabs hold of the opponent and lets out two savage blows before knocking them into the air with a savage uppercut.

At the cost of one stock of Heat, Knuckles grabs his opponent and smashes them onto the ground behind him.
Beast Charge - +
Version - Knuckles charges forward by a short distance and, upon grabbing the opponent, launches them back with a punch.
Version - Knuckles charges forward by a fair distance and knocks the opponent right onto the wall, should he reach them.
Version - Knuckles zips towards the opponent at great speeds and, upon grabbing the opponent, will send them flying with a savage blow.

At the cost of one stock of Heat, Knuckles rushes forward again and lands a savage blow that forces them enemy onto the wall behind them before bouncing off of it.
Spiral Driver - +
Version - Knuckles leaps almost straight up the air and grabs the opponent before tossing them onto the ground behind him.
Version - Knuckles leaps into the air at a diagonal angle and grabs the opponent before tossing them back onto the ground.
Version - Knuckles leaps into the air and grabs his opponent before swinging them around and tossing them back onto the ground.

At the cost of one stock of Heat, Knuckles grabs his foe again before bringing them into the ground then punching them three times, each firing off a small explosion of flame.
Meteor Quake - [delayable] +
Knuckles punches the ground with enough force to launch forth a wave of molten rock across the ground. When fully charged, he instead fires off a short-ranged explosion of magma.

Knuckles manually fills up his stocks of Heat.
Vortex Fire Jackhammer - +
A Decisive Action where Knuckles lays on the opponent with a series of savage blows before finishing it with a mighty spinning strike in a drill-like fashion coated in a gout of flame.
Thunder Arrow - +
A Decisive Action where Knuckles calls forth a powerful lightning bolt from the sky that temporarily stuns the opponent in place while dealing quick but heavy damage.
Magma Red Torrent - +
A Decisive Action where Knuckles crashes towards his opponent with a barrage of fiery punches multiple times before finishing with one final strike that causes a hard knockdown.
Maximum Heat - +
A Decisive Action where Knuckles is temporarily granted an infinite amount of Heat.
Great Hammer Quake - +
Knuckles' Decisive Climax, where he grabs his foe and twirls them around before tossing them forward. He then rushes after them with a savage blow from his fist that deals massive damage.

At the cost of two stocks of Heat, Knuckles can amp up the power of his final blow by coating it in flames, causing a massive explosion to erupt on impact.
Crimson Meteor Overload - +
Knuckles' Shutdown finisher. He starts off by lifting his opponent high into the atmosphere with a fiery rising uppercut before launching them back down with another strike from his fist. As his opponent falls, Knuckles quickly begins diving towards them with a high-speed spinning strike coated in flames that deals multiple hits upon impact before leaving behind a massive crater upon crashing onto the ground.
