Appearance[]
Jump is a grey shark, and can usually be found wearing black finger-less gloves, leather boots, blue torn jeans, a leather sleeveless jacket, dark shades, and a green backwards baseball cap. He is usually grinning like an idiot as well.
Personality[]
Jump is an ass-hat to put it simply. Thinking himself to be better than everybody, he goes out of his way to do anything that could prove that, no matter the cost.
He has a warped view of other people, seeing them as much lesser than himself, and generally not noticing anyone unless they have gained his attention in some way. Anyone he meets is ran though his head and deemed one of four categories, much lesser, lesser, or equal (but lesser) and truly equal, as he mentally cannot see anyone as being greater than him in any way shape or form. Most people fall into the lesser category, while the much lesser category is saved for scum and unforgivable people. Currently, the only people to be designated as truly equal are the person who made his bike, and Original.
Jump greatly dislikes when he is unable to categorize someone, and while he will never get violent towards someone awaiting categorization, he will always aim for the shortest possible path or solution to whatever is preventing the categorization from occurring naturally, whatever that may be.
He has a tendency to tell jokes that usually not many find funny. He assumes that he is very funny because he cannot tell that nobody is laughing at his jokes, he focuses only on those who do find his jokes funny. He thinks he's all that and a bag of chips.
He gets to be extremely cocky due to his self assumed fame, so he will never back down from a challenge, unless he deems them to be significantly lower than him. He can brush off most insults thrown his way due to his views, but there are some things that will set him off, such as insulting his bike, or anyone he has deemed as equal.
History[]
Jump was originally born in the ocean, or at least on a beach next to it. At a young age Jump was obsessed with proving he was better than everybody in surfing, which started off his better-than-everybody complex. A few years after that, He got REALLY obsessed with bikes, managing to steal one from a store by picking it up in broad daylight and crashing through the nearest window. He then, at the age of 14, began riding around Mobius determined to prove he was better than every single living thing on the planet. He eventually ran (or more accurately drove) into Sonic the Hedgehog (Shocker). When he saw how fast Sonic was he was he knew he had to beat him. So he promptly challenged him to a race, which he won by "accidentally" supercharging his motorbike, setting traps along the raceway, and ramming Sonic, accidentally. Winning boosted his ego beyond the known and unknown universe. A few years later, by some twisting of history and finding loopholes in laws, Jump managed to get himself declared royalty and is now a prince on Mobius by technicality, although this is never mentioned again, and he forgets that he ever did it. Growing immensely in popularity by starting a stunt and competition show, he was living the life, appearing on talk shows, meeting world leaders, and overall having one hell of a time. Then one day he was betrayed by most of the other celebrities who were popular before Jump came along. Jump's life was destroyed, the rumor mill exploded consuming Jump's fame in a matter of seconds, and he was left with nothing... nothing but his motorcycle that is. Jump knew what he must do, he set to work planning the most awesome stunt of all time, one that would regain his fame and outshine every other person who once was more popular than Jump. The day finally arrived, Jump was set to jump the largest gorge in the world, but to make it even more exciting, it was filled to the brim with water and sharks, but mostly sharks. The area was crowded, millions of people came to see Jump's marvelous feat be accomplished, or to get funny videos of him failing. On top of his 2,000 mile high ramp, he looked down and took a breath, this was it. "This is going to be f*cking great" he thought. Getting on his motorbike, he revved the engine, took one final breath, and went for it. He went down the ramp at 200,000 miles per hour, shooting off of the ramp and going flying around the world, not once, not twice, but three times over until finally he landed on the opposite side of the ramp completely unscathed and as bad-ass as ever. Cheers rang out from the crowd as they all flocked towards him, as he got off of his bike. The crowd picked him and his motorbike up and paraded him all the way to the nearest city. Until finally, someone pointed out that he just jumped a shark, proof that he was out of ideas. The crowd dispersed, dropping Jump and his motorbike, but Jump didn't care, he knew they all thought he was a bad-ass motherfucker, and nothing they could say would ever change his mind about that.
Skills[]
Bad-ass Motorcycle Skills that he has developed in a short amount of years. He can do almost anything with his motorcycle. As his history states, he is great at jumping sharks. He can also bite through most materials, due to his extremely strong teeth.
Weaponry[]
Jump commissioned someone to weaponize his motorcycle after his drop from fame the second time, outfitting it with all sorts of non-lethal firepower (because if he killed everyone he couldn't prove he was better than them.) Even with all of this, in fights, he prefers to pick up his bike and smack people with it, if not just fighting with his bare hands.
He can and has wielded Origin as a weapon.
Power[]
Jump is really extremely way too strong for his own good. His super strength allows him to lift anything up to double his weight. He can move within stopped time, this is an unexplainable phenomenon and he has not noticed the few times it has happened, whether this is due to his general worldview or due to other reasons, is unknown.
Jump, by all means, should be unable to wield Chaos Energy. He however, does not know this, and thus is able to due to his enormous ego, albeit unintentionally. In times of great stress (eg. an equal being in danger) he is able to siphon a tiny portion of negative(?) energy from any present Emerald. He cannot go super, but the boost he gains is enough to enhance his abilities as long as he remains under stress. Upon exiting a stressful state, he loses all Chaos Energy accumulated.
Relationships[]
He hates celebrities and is fine with most other people. He likes to think he's better than everyone, so as long as you don't bring up your superiority, you'll be fine.
Relation - Jump and Origin are partners, the two trust each other completely, and always look out for the other. Jump, being mentally unable to register the general existence of most people, relies on Origin to relay information from those he can't register,to point him in the right direction of any job the two have, and generally keep him from straying too far into the darker side of the alignment chart. Jump helps Origin by providing him with a much faster and efficient method of transportation, his raw power, and keeping him under control during A Chaos Emerald Power Boost.
Meeting - Jump and Origin first met during a city-wide Chaos-Energy caused system overload, in which Origin was using Jump's form to get around and combat the rampaging robotic security force, and figure out the cause of the Energy Overload. Jump barely took notice of the Overload until he caught sight of himself, leading him to aid in the effort to restore the cities systems unknowingly as he searched for his copy. After Jump found the origin of the Overload, he more importantly found Himself at the scene fiddling with a generator that was using the power of A Chaos Emerald. He approached himself, and upon catching his attention, (Original) was surprised enough at seeing the person they copied to drop their disguise entirely, leaving only their non-copy mobianoid form, which greatly intrigued Jump. Original, at the behest of Jump, explained themself quickly, but insisted that they deal with the problem at hand before they explained more. Jump's mind didn't know how to categorize Original, due to his explanation in accordance with Jump, then immediate change into demanding that he help him, so Jump took the easiest path to getting the explanation and subsequent categorization he wanted, and ripped the Chaos Emerald out of the system, effectively shutting it down. The problem solved, Jump got his desired explanation and Origin was deemed an equal to Jump, starting off a lasting partnership.
