Izumi-Zurui Conflict, is the conflict between Zurui the Panda and his daughter Izumi the Panda. Zurui left Izumi to fend for herself when she was only ten years old. She also does not have a home, because of her father. Izumi may sometims sleeps over at her friend Kokoro's house. No one knows that Izumi does not have a home, and that she usually sneaks into places just to sleep. She highly dislikes her father, as he was only in her life for 10 years. Izumi has promised herself she'll never become her father.

Overview

Izumi was forced to stay on the run with her father for ten years of her life. She hated it, because there was never any point in making any friends because she'd leave never seeing them again. Eventually Izumi and her father were hiding in a Hanzo Branch town with new identities. Finally Izumi had a normal life. Zurui could see she was happy, and with the news of the military discovering his identity, Zurui was forced to go back on the run. He left without Izumi feeling it would be better for her. He didn't really think about the complications a child must face without a guardian. Izumi lies to everyone she knows, and will usually stay at her friend Kokoro's house, usually saying "Yeah, my parents got into a fight, so could I stay here". Izumi wasn't raised to have manors, but how to fend for herself anyway she could.

A Child in Need

Zurui was backed into an old abandoned country house in the mountains. Zurui had only a few hours before he would have to leave as forces were closing in on him. However, he opened the door to find a baby crying on a sofa. The baby had a note next to her. It read: "Dear Zurui, do you remember me? It's Ren. I guess you've noticed that thing. All she does is whine, and poop. I figured since you were her father, that you could take her for a while. I've been watching you for some time, me and my men have followed you around, and when I gave birth to it, I planned a place to leave her to you. You can chaneg the name if you'd like, but I prefer the name I gave to it, Idiot. Ciao, baby." Zurui ran over to the baby. He had no idea what was coming over him. He cuddled her in his arms, and held her closely. He remembered his own past, and what his parents had done to him. He embraced his daughter, and found new hope within her. Part of him didn't want to take care of her, believing that Zurui needed to fend for himself. However, his paternal instincts were stronger, and he took the baby. He held her close, and shushed her. Thankfully Ren or some-one must have given her attention because she showed no signs of slowed development. Zurui kissed his daughter saying "It's okay, you'll be alright from now on...I promise you," and with that the baby smiled. He was amazed at how beautifully her face lit up. It was more beautiful than a thousand springs, and brighter than a thousand summers. That's where he came up with the name, Izumi.

The Apple Doesn't Fall Far From the Tree

By the age of seven, Zurui had trained Izumi to fight, as well as steal, and manipulate people. While no where near as cold as her father, Izumi was far ruder than him. Though he loved his daughter, and she had become apart of him. It was no longer helping himself, now it was helping her. Zurui found himself an new identity. By time Izumi was ten, Zurui had moved with her to a city in the Hanzo Branch.

A Father's Decision

Zurui could see that Izumi was finally happy. She finally had the life of a normal child. Well aside from the fact that she would often injure classmates, and would be suspended for inappropriate behavior. Zurui had learned from an old friend, that he was being hunted down again, and that the military had found out his real identity. He looked out at his daughter, laughing and playing. He remembered how always being on the move turned him into a disgusting criminal. In the middle of the night, he left his daughter, as he kissed her forehead one last time. Zurui then ran off, to this day avoiding the law.

If I'm a bad person, you dont like me

I guess I'll make my own way

It's a circle, a mean cycle

I can't excite you anymore

Where's your gavel?

Your jury?

What's my offense this time?

You're not a judge, but if you're gonna judge me

Well, sentence me to another life

Dont wanna hear your sad songs

I don't wanna feel your pain

When you swear it's all my fault

'Cause you know we're not the same

We're not the same

Oh, we're not the same

The friends who stuck together

We wrote our names in blood

But I guess if you can't accept that, then change is good

It's good

It's good

You treat me just like another stranger

It's nice to meet you, sir

I guess I'll go

I best be on my way out

You treat me just like another stranger

It's nice to meet you, sir

I guess I'll go

I best be on my way out

Ignorance is your new best friend

This is the best thing that could've happened

Any longer, and I wouldn't have made it

It's not a war, no, it's not a rapture

I'm just a person, but you can't take it

The same tricks that once fooled me

They won't get you anywhere

I'm not the same kid from your memory

Now I can fend for myself

Dont wanna hear your sad songs

I don't wanna feel your pain

When you swear it's all my fault

'Cause you know we're not the same

We're not the same

Oh, we're not the same

We used to stick together

We wrote our names in blood

But I guess if you can't accept that, then change is good

It's good

It's good

You treat me just like another stranger

It's nice to meet you, sir

I guess I'll go

    • Hugging her would probably be considered a health risk.
      • anything similar would work right?
