Elite member of the Intergalactic Assassin's Guild, Glass Angel regularly visits Disaster Club to get a good fight and a good drink. However, when his brother and daughter-in-law arrive unexpectedly, Glass joins the conflict to save the Club and his brother's soul.

Playstyle

Difficulty: Hard.

Playstyle: Jack of all trades, Gimmick.

Glass has a very gimmicky playstyle related to using his Extinction Arm transformations. Each transformation lasts until Glass finishes a combo, giving Glass a new special as well as different medium and heavy normal attacks. His Gatling Formation makes him a long-range zoner, his Blade Formation allows him to easily get in close and his Hammer Formation gives him extremely powerful attacks once he's in range. However, even a stray hit on the opponent with no follow up deactivates his Formation, meaning Glass players have to play very safe before going in for a high-damage combo. He also lacks air options, meaning his combos are largely based on the ground unlike the rest of the cast.

Glass' Throttles emphasise the importance of his Formations. Throttle 1 makes him a more forgiving character for new players, while Throttle 2 shuns accessibility for more complex combo structure.

Hammer Formation IMG 0408+DC 1 button Special Glass’ Extinction Arm turns into a hammer. Pressing this input again while Hammer Formation is active returns the Extinction Arm to normal. Hammer Formation's normals tend to be high damage, but are slow and lack range. OK in air
Blade Formation IMG 0408+DC 2 button Special Glass’ Extinction Arm turns into a blade. Pressing this input again while Gatling Formation is active returns the Extinction Arm to normal. Blade Formation's normals have good range and are generally good as poking tools. OK in air
Gatling Formation IMG 0408+DC 3 button Special Glass’ Extinction Arm turns into a gatling gun. Pressing this input again while Gatling Formation is active returns the Extinction Arm to normal. Gatling Formation's normals hit multiple times and have good range, but low damage. OK in air
Blaster IMG 0408+DC 4 button Special Glass draws a laser pistol from his belt and fires a simple, low damage projectile. OK in air
Hammer Swing IMG 0408+DC 4 button while in Hammer Formation on the ground Special Glass swings his hammer in an arc above his head. Launches opponents and acts as an anti air.
Vault Dash IMG 0408+DC 4 button while in Blade Formation on the ground Special Glass sticks his blade in the ground and uses it to send himself forward, performing a flying kick as he does so. The kick is positive on block, making it very good as an advancing tool.
Rapid Gatling IMG 0408+DC 4 button while in Gatling Formation Special Glass fires his gatling gun, firing a rapid hail of bullets at his enemy. Pressing DC Down in the air angles the attack diagonally downwards.
Life Drain DC HCF+DC 1 button+DC 2 button Super The kanji symbol on the back of Glass’ Extinction Arm hand turns red and all of his attacks drain the enemy’s health for a short time.
Hammer Whirl DC HCF+DC 3 button+DC 4 button while in Hammer Formation on the ground Super Glass walks forward slowly, swinging his hammer rapidly as he goes.
Rocket Gatling DC HCF+DC 3 button+DC 4 button while in Gatling Formation Super Glass fires his gatling gun, this time launching a large number of rockets at the opponent. Pressing DC Down in the air angles the attack diagonally downwards.
Rapid Lancer DC HCF+DC 3 button+DC 4 button while in Blade Formation Super Glass dashes forward and stabs forward multiple times with his blade very quickly. OK in air.
Code 3: Extinction Kill. DC 1 button+DC 2 button+DC 3 button+DC 4 button Finishing Strike Glass grabs the enemy with his Extinction Arm and raises them into the air. The symbol on the back of his hand turns red and red energy comes out of the person he grabbed, entering the extinction arm, before he lets them go and they fall to the floor.

Throttles

Throttle 1: Glass’ Formations now last for 2 combos instead of 1.

Throttle 2: Formation specials can now be used during combos without breaking them.

Good Ending

Glass fights Vendeta as the last boss.

“After we defeated Beautyface, Vendeta just lost it. I don’t know how, but it seemed to be something to do with Natalie just...existing. I beat Vendeta down and Natalie was able to break into his head and remind him of who she was. They live together now, and I drop in for time to time. I know Vendeta could give it up, but I could never stay away from the stars.”

Bad Ending

Glass fights Natalie as the final boss.

“The Assassin’s Guild had given me a mission when I went to Earth: to capture Sasha Walker and make her pay for her debts to the guild. Even if I was her brother-in-law, I knew I had no choice: it was do the job or be hunted down by them. Natalie tried to stop me, but I defeated her. Sasha is in Assassin’s Guild custody because of me, and she may never leave.”

Rewards

  • Completing arcade mode once with Glass unlocks Endless Possibilities for the jukebox.
  • Completing arcade mode a second time with Glass unlocks Tel-Eth’s theme from Depths of Dimensions: Cosmic Slip (titled KRADINOS) for the jukebox.
