Eamon the Vulture is the accursed and lost brother of Edmund the Vulture. He's crazy and doesn't speak english, although has a good understanding of it. He is a witch doctor who curses people to give them other worldly powers by connecting them with dark spirits.
Appearance
Eamon appears as a standard vulture of the Belfry lineage. He's just as slender and muscular as his brother. The only main differences between him and his brother are his hair style, clothing, bodily damage, and facial hair.
Eamon has the right side of his head with full, messy hair. The hair stands up and is in tangles of sorts with how messy it is. The stress can be seen in his hair as it does have some grayer layers in it. As for the left side of his head is completely bald, only minor feathering. It can be noted that Eamon cut his hair with his own dagger as his scalp has minor cuts. Just like Edmund, his face is wholesomely young just like his body.
His clothing is odd.. What appears to be mobian faces align onto his chest as some sort of armor. He even wears a face as a mouth guard. Besides this, he wears what appear to be sandals which show his menacing talons, and cargo pants.
Personality
Eamon is a hard person to describe, to anyone really. When it comes to life, he prefers it in a slow manner.
The best way to describe Eamon would be.. Awkward. He's very physical as well, always needing to touch things and feel its textures to get a better understanding of it. Eamon loves to be alone. He finds great comfort in himself, usually the pressence of others bothers him beyond belief. Some times, he mutters things to himself. He's not very talkative either, as stated earlier, he prefers to do things with his hands.
Eamon loves violence, all the kinds. He has a blood thirsty drive and he'll do anything to sustain such a thing. Another thing about himself that is worthy noting is that he hates anything generalized or appreciated. In other words, he deeply despises those who are better than him in any way, or who are generally liked.
Eamon does not hesitate with anything either. He has a burning passion which translates into his steadfast impatience. Despite everything listed, Eamon seems.. happy. He has an optimistic outlook on his life, just a very twisted one.
History
Eamon was the first son of Erin Belfry. He was born under his trail of drugs and violence. Being the first son of the terrible bird that Erin was, traits of Erin quickly carried onto him. His father locked him in his room for a majority of his childhood. This lead Eamon to find comfort in himself and live a very sheltered life. The only person Eamon found comfort in was his presumed caretaker who came from Spanish lineage. She taught him how to fluently speak Spanish, thus making that his first language instead of Mobian English.
Things were decently normal for the young vulture, this was until he found his father beating on his caretaker with a double ended knife. This heavily shocked the now four year old vulture. It wasn't until much later that day where Eamon takes the knife and attempts to kill Erin himself for revenge of what he did to his caretaker. This didn't go as planned, he was immediately removed of his home after being beaten to near death and tossed out into a river. Though for some odd reason, Erin let Eamon keep the knife
Eamon awoke in a filthy home of degenerates. He ended up growing in that filth rather than in his actual home. But he picked up quite a lot knowledge from such a place. This was where Eamon learned how to fight and how to survive for himself, not to mention English. He learned all these things from a hunter who took care of him momentarily.
It wasn't until Eamon was a teenager where he would get out of the hell hole he was in. He fled to a near by country where he lived a majority of his life in. He spent his days as a halloween costume designer. Every Halloween, something peculiar happened. Three or five people would go missing around the final week of October. It was a heavily inspected case that would yearly strike the citizens with questions.
He was finally caught in the middle of skinning a living mobian when the officers barged into his household. It was then when he used his haunting phrase, estas aqui.
Since the country he was forbidden with heavy penalty, Eamon was taken into an asylum for the rest of his life. Here was where his mentality really began to crack. He began carving things on the walls with his own talons in a creepy manner. Some asylum mates even heard him chanting odd occult curses. Another weird rumor is that every one who's shared rooms with Eamon ended up as the masks he would wear in his room, either that or bed sheets.
The paranoia that he struck to the other asylum mates caused him to be locked up in his own fortified room where he would be put in a straitjacket. Eamon spent his time like this for another five years until he would eventually escape from the jacket and bust down his door. He escaped from his cell and would rampage those who got in his way. He was aprehended again and kicked out of the country the next day.
Eamon had begun to understand things once kicked out the country. He knew what he was doing was bad, but he deeply enjoyed it. He took a sick thrill out of his actions and began to make a replica of the knife he stole from his father as a chick. With the weapon being fully completed, he cut half of his hair, making many mistakes in the process. He also took some of his spare supplies and masked himself with previous victims.
There, Eamon discovered who he was and what he'd become.
Powers
Occult Magic
Though it isn't much of a power, Eamon has the ability to channel dark magic. He was actually a leader in his cult around the filth yards where he grew up. It is actually suspected that Eamon summoned the demon that would later curse and bless his brother, Edmund. He can only curse with these powers, they aren't strong either.
Abilities
Flight
Eamon being a naturally born Vulture was more than capable of flight. It was how he got across country. His wings were chipped since he left Mavenland though. Over all he flies faster than his brother and he flies with very good control and comfort due to his light weight.
Skills
Knife Combat
From his days at the filth yard, Eamon went through some stressful moments. Due to those times, he had to learn how to fend himself. Holding a knife since he was a young'n, Eamon became infamous with the blade by the time he was a teenager. It's how he's stopped people from assaulting him then. Not to mention, Eamon is incredibly crafty with the blade. Making good uses with it, like skinning and carving.
Basic Combat
While not an expert at these arts, Eamon knows how to survive with out a weapon. He is a grappler, constantly grabbing enemies and choking them in some way. Though his direct hits may be laughable, if he pulls you into any submissive attack, you could possibly die if you don't break out. His grip is unmatched when it comes to choke holds and sleeper submissions. This also makes him quite the threat if he were to get you by surprise.
Weaknesses
Like anything in existence, everything has a weakness. Eamon has many of his own.
First things first, Eamon is fragile. He's tall but very thin, making him an easy target to toss around and beat down. And despite his submissive attacks being very hard to break out of, if you are strong/bulky enough you may render him absolutely useless.
Now his knife is the tricky part, it is best to keep away from him while he is armed with the knife. Counter very fast as well. His knife has limited range too making it sort of difficult to take care of fast enemies. It is notable that he can be disarmed rather easily if you time your attack right.
Trivia
- Eamon was initially intended to be his own character, but my mind changed due to story purposes.
- Eamon birthday is the fifth of December, marking him as a Sagittarius. He commonly carves the numbers on his enemies and other objects.
- Eamon is my first character to not be fluent at the English language.
- Eamon was originally not intended to have Spanish roots, but hey everyone likes a Spaniard with craze in 'em.
- Eamon's name was changed from Eris due to a mistake, Eris turned out to have been a female name.
