A lethal assassin working for G.U.N, Gemma woke up from a coma one day to discover herself as a cyborg, having no knowledge of her previous life, although her accent was recognised as being Soleannan. After discovering she had a love of gems, she took up the name Gemma and was scouted out by G.U.N. She now works for the military organisation to discover her past, and maybe discover a few valuables along the way.
Playstyle: Setup, Mixup, Pressure
Gemma is strong at both long range and close range, able to use her abilities for high damage combos or to keep the opponent guessing. However, she needs to properly set her gems up and constantly keep the opponent guessing in order to make the most out of her damage, meaning she can be tough to play as.
Both of Gemma’s throttles change the focus of her playstyle: Throttle 1 helps with her zoning ability, while Throttle 2 improves her rushdown.
Throttle 1: Adds Whiplash Spindle
Throttle 2: Adds Whiplash Grapple.

Gemma fights Blaze as the final boss.
“I managed to track down that Blaze chick after I completed the operation to capture Beautyface. I don’t know what all the fuss is about with her, she seemed easy to take out for me. I took her gems and ran off into the night. Now all I need to do is to figure out how to use these things…”
Gemma fights Kable as the final boss.
“Kable ambushed me after defeating Beautyface. I beat him, but it was a distraction: the Cyborg Squadron captured me and took me to Kabletech Tower. G.U.N thinks I’m AWOL, not realising I’m being held captive by one of their suppliers. I don’t know what Kable plans to do with me, but I’m not looking forward to it.”
