Although affiliated with G.U.N., they are treated more as mercs, and they simply take orders.
Uniform
They get to either choose their own clothing or wear specialized GUN uniform, and even have custom-painted helmets.
History
The Mini-Militia was started when the OCs (just Angel, Axio, Dani, and Xiro at the time) had first defeated Dr. Eggman. When GUN saw this, they wanted to recruit them. They refused, so GUN tells them about their plans of starting a militia to fight Eggman. The OCs are convinced to join, and their friends join with them. When GUN sees that only nine people were willing to join, they simply named them the Mini-Militia. At first, GUN wanted to keep the MM doing safe missions, as they were all at their oldest twenty-two. Eventually, the MM proved themselves by thwarting Eggman's plans over and over again, convincing GUN to send them on more dangerous missions. Their greatest feats were the defeat of Nibutu and Zeleo in the battle of Nibutu's Folly and when they helped the Freedom Fighters on Mobius "imprison" Eggman there (of course, that was only temporary). They would grow up and take high-ranking positions in US's section of GUN during World War IV, but lose to Mundial. After WW4, they will fight in the Solar System Wars I and II, but prominent figures of the Mini-Militia would either die or retire, thus bringing an end to it. Former members are viewed as legends or celebraties, and will inspire Nip the Spider, Lyell Gorvoño, and Volt Koop to replace them; Takara and former mercenary Cerise will join them as well, and they set out to fight the corrupt POTUS Mossels and fix the damages she's caused. Later on, Volt would reluctantly betray her friends in a deal with Mossels herself, but would then sacrifice her life to kill Mossels and avenge them.
