Tails: Galactic Mission

Tails: Galactic Mission is the video game sequel to the anime, Sonic X. It was released in November 2010 for the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS.

Story

The story takes place about six months after Sonic X. Cosmo has sacrificed herself to save the universe and Sonic gives whats left of Cosmo to Tails, a seed. Tails has since then fell into a deep state of depression. Little do they know that Cosmo and the Metarex have survived the Sonic Power Cannon blast. Cosmo is soon captured by Dark Oak and he starts to resurrect his 4 commanders; Red Pine, Yellow Zelkova, Black Narcissus, and Pale Bay Leaf. Tails later recieves a note from Cosmo saying that she's alive, but she's been kidnapped by the Metarex. Tails; with the help of Sonic, Knuckles, Amy Rose, Cream the Rabbit, Shadow, Rouge, Chaotix detectives, Vector, Charmy, and Espio, Silver The Hedgehog, Blaze The Cat and with a twist, Dr. Eggman, must rescue Cosmo from the Metarex. The Metarex are also after the 4 Crystal Seeds and the 7 Planet Eggs. Tails must also prevent the Metarex from getting their hands on the Planet Eggs in order to rescue Cosmo and once again save the universe.

Characters

• Miles "Tails" Prower - The main hero of the game and the only one whose first time saving the galaxy. With the help from his friends and Dr. Eggman, he sets out to rescue Cosmo from the Metarex and find the 7 Planet Eggs before they do. He was hailed by Dr Eggman as the team's strategic leader.
• Cosmo The Seedrian - Tails' love interest from the anime Sonic X.  She, like the Metarex, survived the Sonic Power Cannon blast during the final battle with Dark Oak. She's the damsel-in-distress that was captured by the Metarex, and Tails must rescue her. This is her first appearance in a Sonic game.
• Sonic The Hedgehog - Tails' best friend. He helps Tails out on his mission to rescue Cosmo, find the Planet Eggs, and defeat the Metarex. He was taken charge as a communications specialist by Dr Eggman.
• Knuckles The Echidna - Tails' other best friend. He helps out for the same reason. He was chosen by Dr. Eggman to be second-in-command to lead everybody into war.
• Amy Rose - Sonic's self-proclaimed girlfriend. Like all the other members of the game, she helps Tails rescue Cosmo. She was given the job as a cyber scientist.
• Cream The Rabbit - Amy's best friend, she also assists in trying to rescue Cosmo. She was voted by Dr. Eggman to be chef of the Tornado Carrier.
• Shadow The Hedgehog - Sonic's arch-rival but now his best friend who knows so much about Cosmo. He joins the gang to stop Dark Oak and his army, thanks to Maria's wish. He was introduced by Eggman as the weapons specialist.
• Rouge The Bat - International jewel thief and Knuckles' arch-rival who is Shadow's partner and a governemnt spy for G.U.N.  She helps Tails and the gang to rescue Cosmo and prevent the Metarex from stealing the Planet Eggs. She was chosen by Eggman to be the team's undercover spy.
• Dr. Eggman - Sonic's arch enemy who seeks world domination. He also helps rescue Cosmo and restore freedom to the galaxy. He built an all-out interstellar battleship, the Tornado Carrier, where he becomes the group's trusty captain.
• Chaotix - Vector, Espio, and Charmy have a lot of experience fighting the Metarex and helping Cosmo. They join Tails and his friends to save the universe and save Cosmo. 
• Sol Dimension Duo - Blaze and Silver know so much about the Metarex and Cosmo. They fight the army of thousands back at the Sol Dimension. They both agree to help Tails and the rest of the team to save the galaxy. This is their first time going into outer space. Blaze's job in this group is security system hacker, while Silver's job is aerial inforcer.
• The Metarex - The main villains of the game. They are led by the notorious Dark Oak. They, like Cosmo, survived the Sonic Power Cannon blast during the final battle with Sonic and friends. The Metarex leader, Dark Oak, ressurects his fellow commanders, Red Pine, Yellow Zelkova, Black Narcissus, and Pale Bayleaf. They capture Tails' love interest, Cosmo, which they succeed in doing. They are also after the Crystal Seeds and the 7 Planet Eggs, and Tails must stop them from getting their hands on them. Like Cosmo, this is their first appearance in the Sonic game.

Voice Cast

The game features a new cast with well-known video game voice actors, including Alyson Court, who is known for voicing Jubilee in X-Men The Animated Series and Claire Redfield in the Resident Evil series, who has apparently replaced Amy Birnbaum as the voice of Cosmo. The rest of the new cast is yet to be confirmed.
