Appearance

Sophie is a slightly shorter than average hedgefox, with dark green fur & moderate-length apple-green hair. Her quills, mostly hidden by her hair, are tipped in black fur. She has sparkling pink eyes which seem to reflect light, and has a feminine appearance & hourglass figure.

Attire

Sophie dresses like an experienced commando - a set of mottled brown & green jacket and pants, plus brown boots, fingerless gloves & belt, her belt sporting a brown scabbard for her sword. She normally wears a mottled brown & green broad-brimmed hat, the one piece of clothing that doesn't fit the commando idea, and black v-neck t-shirt under the jacket.

Abilities

As a member of the Sorisa Family, Sophie has access to the genetic ability known as Overheat, which increases the power of her Fire abilities, at the cost of her own strength - the more powerful the attack, the more tired she gets, plus the more damage these attacks cause to her body. However, with her skill in fire, this, while not 100% acceptable due to the recoil she suffers, makes her attacks easily underestimated.

Along with that advanced skill in fire, Sophie is trained in advanced-level hand-to-hand and swords-based combat, with the Dragon Sage-forged longsword she carries her weapon of choice. It has been noted that with that blade, she has been able to pierce reasonably thick metal with relative ease.

Aside for that, Sophie also has some commando training, working with her natural attributes. She is skilled in stealth, with her expertise focused on forests & woodlands. She also has naturally high levels of rod-type light receptor cells in her eyes, giving her brilliant night vision, believed to be superior to most other hedgefoxes, and most cats for that matter. This provides her an even greater advantage in a dark forest, allowing her to see detail even in shadows. She is also a trained moderate-distance athlete, capable of covering 1.5 – 2 km in less than five minutes at a fast pace.

However, despite her strengths, Sophie also has numerous weaknesses. Prolonged use of her Fire-type abilities wears her out both in energy and in physical strength - a long enough fight can cause her not to pass out from loss of energy, but from heatstroke as the power boost from her genetic ability throws her body's thermal levels into flux, with too much heat causing her to pass out, and possibly die if she cannot cool off. Opponents capable of sensing her biometrics are also a problem, as this counteracts her stealth skills and forces her to fight defensively, something that Fire is of limited help with.

Transport

Sophie owns and uses a sail-powered vehicle in her day-to-day life. Somehow, she acquired a Hammerforge Industries IN-5 Land Yacht prototype, which serves as her distance transport. The vehicle is essentially a six-wheeled vehicle with the front wheels on moving struts, allowing the yacht to turn sharply and smoothly. It has seen some combat, at the suggestion of a Hammerforge technician, where the silent vehicle proved useful both for escape and infiltration, although the reliance on a small motor for transport towards the wind is a major setback.

Personality

To start, Sophie is often considered to be tough and disciplined, oftentimes pushing herself into almost excessive territory. To her, it is all about proving to her parents that she can handle the roles and responsibilities that come with leadership. Since she was born, she had been raised within the mindset of strength being both internal and external, which is impossible to average person. This is most likely due to her family and their history of serving their country and their home in a militaristic sense.

Over the course of her childhood into her teen years, she had been leaning more on appearances, excelling in health and athletics but suffering in her academics. As she goes through the growing process, she had to stop herself due to the extremes she subjected herself to. Case in point, she would either exercise too much or study too late into the night to actually change her academic performance, which brought her into a state of depression.
