After the failure of Sonic Boom: Rise Of Lyric and Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal, SEGA decided make the Sonic Boom saga exclusive of Playstation Plataforms. Then the Sonic Team and Sonic Brasil Productions created Sonic Boom: Incredible Sextet for PS3 and PS4. The critcis rated the game as good, all the players enjoyed this game.
Story[]
Dr. Eggman is planning to destroy the island where Sonic and his friends live. Meanwhile, Shadow joins with Sonic and his friends, and they form the Incredible Sextet.
Together they will have to stop Dr. Eggman and save the island.
The Eggman´s Flag
Dr. Eggman creates the metal versions of Sonic´s friends. And Sonic and his friends need to defeat them. The unique mode for defeat Dr. Eggman and Metal Sonic is using the Power Crystals, The Incredible Sextet need to catch them.

Now, Shadow is a playable character. Blaze, Silver and Rouge appears for the first time. They help The Incredible Sextet for defeat Eggman.

When you receive a mission, you have to go to the map. On the map are the Tropical sland and their localities. When selecting a location, you must choose a stage and mission. In this game the Adventure Fields returns.

Dr. Eggman´s Base - The house of Dr. Eggman. Here are Cubot & Orbot and the robots of Eggman. Here are too the Multiplayer Games.
The Secret Hideout - The secret house of Rouge, Blaze and Silver. They life here. Here are the Special Missions.

Tails in the Dusty Canyon
Each stage have three acts. In the firts act, the gameplay is of racing. In the second and third acts, the gameplay is the normal gameplay of Sonic Boom: Rise Of Lyric. In the stages you can play 1-4 players alternating the characters.

Multiplayer Mode[]
The multiplayer Mode is located in the Eggman´s Base. Here you can play 1-4 players in several minigames. The minigames are:
Normal Race - A race in 2D mode. The first to arrive in the finish line wins.
A Normal Race. The 1st player is using Sonic and the 2nd player is using Sticks.
Speed Race - A race in 3D mode, like the firsts acts of the levels. The one who survive until the end of the race wins.
Friend Battle - A mini battle. In this mode the players battle in an arena. The one who defeat all the others players wins.
Tag - In this mode one player need to chase and catch the other players.
Beach Volley - A funny minigame. In this minigame, the players can play volleyball in two teams. This mode need 2 or 4 players.
Special Missions[]
In the Secret Hideout you can play the special missions. These missions are played in the stages. When you complete these Special Missions you can unlock Secret habilities and skins. When you complete all Special Missions, you can play with Super Sonic in normal levels.
In total, are 100 missions for complete.
