Eror is a Glitchian, and owned by Hero of Team Dragoon.
History[]
Eror was born a few years after Fital, as Fital's only Glitchian. Throughout Fital's history, Eror followed along as the only being Fital could at the time call a friend. During Fital's many years as the evil ruler of a dimension, Eror was inspired by his efficiency, and would seek to replicate his fighting style by watching Fital, and practicing against innocents and the occasional hero. While Eror would never perfect Fital's fighting style, they crafted his own from the training they did.
Eventually, Fital gave up his dictatorship, having figured out he wasn't enjoying it and would prefer being a hero, but Eror didn't change with him, and they would continue just killing people across the dimensions randomly looking for someone to actually fight and not just kill. Soon though, he found someone, well, a team who could and did challenge them, and actually beat them, Team Dragoon.
From then on, Eror would pester Team Dragoon, popping in randomly no matter where Team Dragoon were, and fighting them, caring not for what or who he killed or destroyed. This would quickly grow into an actual issue for Team Dragoon, as Eror could strike in the middle of a populated zone, and they'd have to handle them. Eventually, Eror did just that, but coincidentally, Fital came as well.
Dimensional Merge[]
One day, a powerful dragon known as Armageddon found Eror and demanded he craft him a dimension merging device so he can rule multiple dimensions at once. Eror, initially on guard due to sensing Armageddon's power, decided that this would be the perfect time to test his design for such a merge device, and demanded he get to rule part of the merged dimension himself, While Armageddon was initially resistant, Eror pointed out he would need a team of people to actually build the thing in the first place, and it would be much easier to get them if Eror has something to offer himself, and so Armageddon acquiesced.
From there, Eror recruited the Dimensional Engineers, a not very well known group of Demon and Glitchian engineers who could build Eror's design, with the promise they could live in luxury with him if they won, and that Eror would protect them. From there, the Merge Device was built, but it needed a power source with at least some level of dimensional energy production. With Armageddon's help, Eror found the dimension where such a power source was, and as they were searching for it, Eror's attunement to the Dimensional Hub was tapped into by a unknown source to summon him to them.
The unknown source turned out to be a creature known as a Asura, called Veroxx. Veroxx had called Eror to him in hopes that Eror would set him free. Eror agreed to do so if Veroxx helped in his endeavors, and Veroxx decided that was fair. From there, Veroxx used his dimensional attunement to lead them to the exact location of a artifact suitable as a power source, a magic gem known as the Quartz Kaleidoscope. From there, Veroxx would join the newly formed Dimensional Council, and after Eror plugged the Quartz Kaleidoscope into the Merge Device, and another member joined, the events of Dimensional Merge would kick off. Throughout Dimensional Merge, Eror would join Veroxx as one of the most active Dimensional Council members, hampering the heroes by taking things from them, directly or indirectly.
The Odyssey and after.[]
Eror reprised his role as part of the Dimensional Council, bringing one of the three Reveries to Armageddon's Castle. Throughout the adventure, he would act alongside his fellow councilmembers in battle until he went off on his own to pick off all the heroes he can think of that would be weaker than him. This eventually left him in critical condition for a time. After the adventure, the group would split off on a divide and conquer strategy, and he would ally with Eggman to create the Egg Portalship, a device that could merge dimensions without relying on a artifact to power it. Eventually though, he would fight one final battle with Fital, and die.
Eror had expected that this could happen though, and so had prepared letters for the Dimensional Council, asking them to forgive him for acting on his own and ending up dead, while also telling them he had a great time as part of the Dimensional Council, and how he really felt about each of them. He had also made one for Eggman though, leaving his designs to him for use in ending Sonic and Team Dragoon.
Much later though, in the afterlife, he would be approached by a entity, who asked for his help in tormenting the Demon Scientist, due to him joining a new Dimensional Council and being a psycho who altered souls. Eror accepted readily, intent on confronting the fools who thought themselves the Dimensional Council.
Relationships[]
Fital[]
Fital is Eror's father figure, and also their closest friend. When Fital was evil, he would assist in Eror's passion for creating static defenses and bases by providing the resources and labor to craft them, allowing Eror to get quite good at it. Fital would also support Eror's studies into dimensional tech, though Fital gave up being evil before Eror had fully understood how dimensions worked. The two also bonded over a shared love of fiction. When Fital gave up his dictatorship, Eror sought to convince him to give up limiting himself by being good and become evil again. These conversations would go nowhere though, and when Fital and Eror both picked sides in regards to Team Dragoon, Eror gave up most of it. Seeing as they would inevitably end up clashing, the two formed their Friendly Fighters agreement, which said that fighting between them were simple moral differences, and that each of them could fight each other at full power without becoming actual enemies. While the two would talk less after this, when they met, depending on the moment, they would either converse or fight in whatever way they would enjoy the most. Even in their last moments, Eror and Fital stayed friends.
Team Dragoon[]
Eror initially saw Team Dragoon as just another set of heroes they could fight and kill, but after they beat him a couple times, Eror started getting irritated and officially made them their enemies. From then on they would pester the group, trying to kill them over and over. As they kept fighting them though, they realized they were starting to enjoy the bouts. Eror officially stopped seeing them as enemies after they went out of their way to organize a rematch of the Dimensional Merge's final battle, realizing they were just as big fans of the spectacle of the fights as they were. This did not stop them from attempting to kill Team Dragoon though, and they would do so until their death.
Team Phantasm[]
Eror initially thought nothing of them, as they were more Veroxx's problem than theirs, and while they would have to deal with them, Eror was having fun. In the final battle of the Dimensional Merge though, they would irritate them by not really doing much, aside from Cyne and his variants. Comparatively to Ecto though, Eror could see they were simply part of the problem of Ecto's practicality over theatrics, and aside from a bout of irritation early on in The Odyssey, Eror would merely fight them out of dedication to the Dimensional Council.
Team Alpha[]
Eror doesn't really know much about Team Alpha itself, as they didn't do as much to irritate them comparatively to their leader. What Eror does know, however, is that they can often pull magic items from nowhere like Ecto is prone to do, and they didn't do much in the Dimensional Merge's final battle, so they're a bit ticked with them, but not as much as their leader.
Ecto the Hedgehog[]
Ecto was initially in a similar camp as his team, part of "Armageddon's foes", not Eror's problem in a personal sense. Ecto earned their ire, though, when he managed to make the heroes bypass the Merge Device's defenses by using his ghost powers. He then became Eror's problem when his stash of magic things started getting in the way of spectacle and speeding through "phases" of the battle. When Ecto brought Stryans into the mix, however, he became Eror's number one enemy, especially when that drew in a Outer God and caused the battle to end instantly instead of after a long fought battle.
Canon Cast[]
Eror never really knew much about Sonic and his friends. They would show up sometimes with Team Dragoon, but they weren't their primary target, and were largely pushed aside to fight Team Dragoon.
Personality[]
Eror does everything in life with a upbeat attitude, including murder, which causes him to battle in ways that aren't always efficient. As well, he may incorporate attacks from other fighters if he thinks it would be fun. It takes a lot to truly anger him, and if he is angered, he seeks the total destruction of the source of his anger. If they escape, he forms a grudge against them, and the only way to solve it is by acting in a way that makes things more fun. Despite his alignment, Eror cares deeply about those who he has worked with, and misses them when they're gone.
Appearance[]
Eror takes the form of a humanoid with ethereal purple skin and a glitchy aura. If they're not maintaining a specific look, their facial features with often change between the many different Mobian species, so they could have cat ears one second, antennae another, or a nose like Sonic's a third, though their general face shape remains the same. Though Eror has no visible or defined gender, most people take them to be male, and Eror doesn't mind it. If beaten down hard enough, Eror may lose form and return to their natural state, a puddle of ethereal purple goo.
Powers and abilities[]
Eror shares many powers and abilities with Fital, as Eror looks up to Fital. These prominently include energy manipulation and armament creation, among others. Of course though, Fital is better at using them due to his higher power and deeper familiarity, and so when Eror starts to have to fight Fital, he thinks up uses for his powers that Fital doesn't use himself, such as elemental applications, and weapons Fital is unfamiliar with, such as Team Dragoon's favored alternate weapons. When faced with something he's never faced before though, if Eror's go-to options fail, he'll often switch to something new on the fly, whatever he thinks of first. This is his most dangerous aspect, his tendency to throw everything at the wall to see what sticks, such as using every element at once. For fighters that aren't Fital or don't share his skills, this will often prove overwhelming. At the peak of his power, Eror can apply elements to anything he uses, energy construct or otherwise, and switch them as fast as he thinks.
Eror's go-to weapon during his final plan were a pair of hammers made of energy steel, which were each equipped with a different element at all times, though they also made good use of a halberd that could transform into a axe, and a shield strong enough to deflect almost anything during the Dimensional Merge. Eror's main weakness, however, is numbers. Eror can take on powerful people to a extent alone, but cannot properly fight against teams, especially when they use projectiles.
Eror is also a excellent engineer, specializing in fortresses, static defenses, and dimension manipulation devices, though they are unable to build anything themself.
Transformations[]
Eternal Eror[]
Eternal Eror is the form Eror can take when using the locked World Rings. In it, his power is amped up in every aspect. It was quickly sealed away by Ecto though.
Eternal God Eror[]
A step above Eternal Eror, this is the form used by Eror when using the unlocked power of the World Rings. Just like the previous form, it grants Eror enhanced general power, having no abilities to truly unlock.
Stellar Eror[]
Using the Jeweled Scepter, Eror can take on his Stellar Form. In this state, all his abilities are massively heightened, and with even a full percentage of the Jeweled Scepter's stored power, he could accidentally rend the dimension he's currently in. It was used only once, to fight Starry Fital, then Cyne with the full power of the Dreamscape at his command, who was overall stronger, but was almost destroyed by a full percent power blast.
