Dynatium is a uncommon gem type that can be found anywhere if looked for enough. The Pure and Impure variants can be found only on the twin mountains, Tytan and Khronos.
The raw variant can be found in caves or mountains, or in areas normally lacking elemental charges.
Description[]
Dynatium's color depends on what it's infused with. In it's base state, it appears to be a dull grey. Infuse elemental energy and it can change into a color corresponding to that element.
Types of Dynatium[]
Basic Dynatium: The basic variant, and the most common. Lacks an element, and can be infused with one; depending on which strand is used. This is grown naturally, and is considered to be one of Shiro's most valuable materials.
Corrupted Dynatium: This variant of Dynatium is not produced naturally, and is a result of Mephisto's antics. It's colors can change like the pure variant, but will always have a tinge of black at the edges of the stone. It's not considered wise to use this type of Dynatium.
Red Dynatium: Dynatium that had been infused with the element of Fire. This version is colored fiery red, and is warm to the touch. It's commonly used by fire elementals to bolster their powers. On occasion, Red Dynatium has been called 'Flame Gems' and has been known to glow.
Blue Dynatium: Dynatium infused with Water. This version is sea blue, and gives off a cool feeling. Used by water elementals.
Brown Dynatium: Infused with the element of Earth. This version is dirt brown, and has a rough texture when held. Used by earth elementals.
Green Dynatium: Infused with the element of Air. This version is tree green, and has a smooth texture. Can be used to provide oxygen on special occasions.
Yellow Dynatium: Infused with the element of Electricity. Colored yellow, and has been known to give a tingling sensation when held. Used by Electric elementals.
Grey Dynatium: Infused with the element of Ice. Colored grey, and has been known to be either cool to the touch, or freezing.
Black Dynatium: Infused with the element of Darkness. Colored an inky black, this gives off a feeling of cold loneliness. Has been known to look as if it sucks the light out of a room. Used by Dark elementals.
White Dynatium: Infused with the element of Light. Has been known to either be a pure white color, or sometimes rainbowish. Holding this gives a sense of comfort. Can glow in the dark, provides light when in dark areas. Used by Light elementals.
Usage[]
Jewelry[]
A rare usage for Dynatium, the gem itself is malleable, able to be molded and changed into various types of jewelry. However, currently only sixteen pieces of jewelry have been made from Dynatium. When in it's 'unrefined' state, Dynatium itself lacks a luster, being barren of anything that would give it any kind of shine.
Dynatium, after they have been fed elemental energy, can also be worn. This version of Dynatium is considered 'refined'.
Batteries[]
Now, Dynatium has a special usage. Batteries for elemental energy. Dynatium can be used to store Elemental energy of any kind. However, Dynatium can only be used to absorb one type of energy, any more would cause instability in the crystal. It's shape, color, and form depends on the type of elemental energy absorbed.
