Dr. Eggman is a character who appears in The Legend of Fox the Brave. He is a mad genius known for being the main antagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. However, he does not serve as a major antagonist of The Legend of Fox the Brave until fairly recently, being overshadowed by other villains like Dr. Finitevus(mostly due to author preference)
Dr. Eggman retains his appearance from canon media.
Dr. Eggman retains his personality from canon media.
Eggman is an insane, megalomaniacal, arrogant, narcissistic evil scientist with extreme pride in his intellect. He is known to hate Sonic the Hedgehog, yet want to prove himself superior to the Blue Blur before defeating him, and gets angry at anyone who tries to kill Sonic(which Starline attempted unsuccessfully). He is also incredibly short-tempered, flying into a rage whenever something doesn't go his way
Before the Series: Dr. Eggman's past largely mirrors that of his Archie counterpart, where he constantly clashed with Sonic the Hedgehog, and gained a collection of "Egg Bosses" to conquer various territories around Mobius. Master Y mentioned that had he decided to get involved in their battle, none of Eggman's "nonsense" would have happened.
In The Legend of Fox the Brave:
Eggman was not a large villain in the series early into its creation. When Fox the Brave was a young teen named Red the Fox, Eggman effectively enslaved him under the threat that he would "suffer the same fate" as his father Torch. During this employment, Red became a target of Eggman's rage, often taking the brunt of an angry beating, which contributed to Red's later cold, cynical attitude. During the years of the Storming Alliance's operation, Eggman didn't bother the warriors due to fighting Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends. After the Battle of the Canyon during the Great War, Eggman lost his memory and became an amnesiac handyman named Mr. Tinker. However, this made him a target of Dr. Starline, who became obsessed with restoring Dr. Eggman to the head of the Eggman Empire. Mr. Tinker was taken to Light Mobius to hide, but he and young Maxwell Veschell were still captured. An unknown time after this, Eggman regained his memories, and immediately set about preparing his new plan, the Metal Virus. However, this plan quickly fell apart in the Battle for Storm Cloud City, where he was defeated and arrested before he could escape again.

Eggman possesses a genius-level intellect that he has great pride in, often creating an army of robots to do his bidding. He considers his greatest creation to be Metal Sonic, despite an incident regarding him that resulted in the robot deposing him and taking his image.
Eggman is very arrogant and prideful, and even a bit impatient. As seen in IDW Issue 13, he hastily begins preparing the Metal Virus the moment it shows the results he wants
Eggman initially viewed a young Red the Fox as a replacement for Torch, Red's father and the previous assistant to him that fled and was later killed. Eggman had no qualms about beating Red whenever he was angry with something, or the fox displeased him in some way. This would later contribute to Fox's cynical, cold attitude and his hatred of anything relating to Eggman. When Fox the Brave rose as the leader of the Storm Fighters, Eggman at first just viewed him as a pest, much like Sonic, only to view him as a true threat once the Storming Alliance was established and made a name as the protectors of the Four Worlds
Sonic the Hedgehog
Established in the original 1991 Sonic the Hedgehog game for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, Eggman and Sonic have been enemies for almost all of their appearances together, but have been shown to be able to work together, albeit with much reluctance.
Initially Eggman didn't care much for Starline, despite liking that the fellow doctor "knew his place" when he introduced himself to him. He soon became more interested in Starline as he revealed his worth to him, to the point that he allowed Starline to assist him in his experiments. However, Eggman still did not care enough about Starline's opinions, brushing his protests regarding the Metal Virus off and quieting him down when he continued.
At first Eggman wasn't impressed by Max, observing him as "not much to look at". But at Starline's insistence, Eggman kept Max around, eventually making him a-rather terrified-helper. Despite the fact he found Max "helpful", he views Max's terror as "cowardice", not caring about the pup at all, and even trying to use him as leverage against the warriors in the Battle for Mystic Ruins
