Dimensional Chaos is the fourth story in SolarBlaze's episodic fanfic series, Knuckles' Chaotix: Elements of Power. It picked up exactly where the third episode and first Christmas Special left off. This story is currently in progress, and there's at least one more sequel planned.
Plot[]
Taking place seven months after The Goddess of Destruction and one month after the EoP Christmas Special, a mysterious Scorch look-alike, who claims to be from another dimension, invades Dr. Robotnik's base to steal the blueprints for the EG Experiments (Squash, Seedra, Shock, Storm, and Silvra), as well as the Egg Merger, the machine that was used to create them. Who is this mysterious look-alike? More importantly, who sent her, and for what purpose has she stolen these things? Find out as the saga continues!

References to Past Stories[]
- Several times throughout the series, the events of the first Christmas special were referenced.
- In Part 4, Mecha Amy brought up the incident where Dr. Nega controlled Metal Sonic with a virus.
- In Part 12, Dr. Robotnik brought up the above incident to emphasize the fact that he's truly given up his plans on world domination, stating that Nega was behind everything that happened.
- In Part 15a, Wechnia informed Luna about the above incident (as well as Nega trying to unleash the Ifrit in order to make her realize that Nega had been manipulating her from the start.
- In Part 16, while Metal Sonic 3.0 was explaining the incident to Julia, he expressed regret over the fact that he saved Cheese and Chocola's lives, claiming that their data was "utterly useless".
References in Later Stories[]
- In the second chapter of Christmas Special #2, Luna and Oceana reflected back on the events of this story, stating that they resented the fact that they ever trusted Dr. Nega to begin with. Frostina then went on to say that the creation of the PG Experiments was the one good thing that came out of the incident.
Trivia[]
- In addition to having planetary names, Ringstar Island and some of its locations were named after beta elements within the 16-bit Sonic the Hedgehog titles.
- Ringstar Island itself was named after "Knuckles' Ringstar", the beta name of Knuckles' Chaotix.
- Mushroom Valley was named after the Mushroom Hill Zone's beta name.
- Sparkling City was named after the "Sparkling Zone", the beta name of the Spring Yard Zone.
- Coincidentally, Cosmic Casino, a location within Sparkling City, is the name of an actual Zone in Sonic Pocket Adventure.
- Breeze Valley was named after SolarBlaze's renaming of the Emerald Hill Zone in a Sonic the Hedgehog 2 ROM hack that he attempted in 2004.
