Daemon, also known as his Hunter codename, "D". Is one of the three main characters in the main Unreal series.

D is the living persona of the tropes “Crouching Moron Hidden Badass” and “Obfuscating Stupidity". D is a very calm and quite person,very vulgar at times, even rude and lewd, and is somewhat of a nihilistic. D can be described as, an antihero, taking whichever side he sees fit. he’s often trying hard to help people, even his enemies, feeling that no one should go through their problems alone. Before,he was a very disfigured, very mentally unstable person, some of that still carries from him now.
He is unable to remember most of his personal history due to his brain preventing him from remembering his tragic past. D as a child was somewhat of a sympathetic killer,often remaining mute, because“the dead has nothing to say”. Often hides his dark personality behind a very talkative, goof ball, screw up personality.
As an inside-joke, he often commits very violent yet comedic heroic acts of suicide. An example would be,jumping between two gears in order to foul an evil plan,or strapping himself to a missile just to redirect it’s course. D has a massive fear of large bodies of water, ranging from a pool to the sea itself. This fear is caused by the fact he can't swim, also the fact that he can't open his eyes under what.
As a recruiting gag, D is often the but off jokes, due to his gullibility.
D somewhat panics in mind when problem gets tough, making him become very sweaty at times.

History
D doesn't remember much about his child

Born son of the King of Yamana. D was favored among people until the Kings son was pronounced dead.At the age of eight,D was sent to Rio,he didn’t know why,he doesn’t even remember how he got there. Soon D was picked up by a band of Mutant orphans. D was favored by the group,after the group went south,D returned to his homeland only to be persecuted.
After years of wander, D ,at the age of 10,was kidnapped by rebels,forcing him to work with them, distant at first,but became more open.When the resistances was disbanded due to most of them being captured and executed, he fell into deep depression,knowing he could have saved them.After being shunned from Yamana,he became crooked for power to take down his father once more,so he turn to help from the NF Boss,D soon found himself testing the two people he would fight in the future,Kay Hyken and Cathra (Lion). A year after the NF boss’s plan failed to use Drag Wong to kill both Kay,Cathra,and Noma. He takes up a new plan,against D,that plan was to expose mutants and bring Planet Complex out of it’s pocket dimension. Knowing that Yamana is also in the pocket dimension, D is forced to give hints to both Kay and Cathra,while concealing his identity,when the plan to stop the NF boss was on hold due to the invasion of the alien race known as Fusion and their leader and ruler, Fuse. Already, D has lost track of Kay.
Finding out that Kay is connected to these invader somehow. D hardly knows what happen due to the NF fleeing to the anti-dimension after the success of his plan to expose mutants. Kay and Cathra finally out did his evil plan to take over the anti-dimension with the help of Koy(anti-Kay) and Cathro(Dohgra or Ginami or anti-Cathra),promising anti-Kay peace and anti-Cathra power. Kay and Cathra come out by a land slide victory.
Another year later, D takes power into his own hands,deciding to use his own connections to stop Kay and Cathra. While the NF tricked K’nuckles, owner of the Floating Island(Isle), into thinking Kay,Cathra(and also co.) and Hunter D(calling him Hunter Demon) were enemies. And with the new found group, A.M.M.O.(Anti Mayhem and Mutant Organization). When it all came down D’s brother,Sam, was left to fight Liy and Kidd ,while Kay and Cathra finally meet face to face with the head honcho,D.
It was yet again another difficult victory. With Kay and Cathra thinking they killed D. Later did they know it wasn’t that easy,D met the two for a rematch two months later. Postponing it till can defeat there new enemy, Blizo,a killer with to much power. After many battles,D was offered to join the CS after Kay left to create the Hero after he temporally joining the NF. After the death of the CS boss,he was made the CS boss,but left the CS months later due to him having stuff to finish.
D is currently living alone in an old abandoned factory in Kyoto.
