Cy-Fox v0.5 is an unofficial designation given to the QinetiQ Modular Advanced Armed Robotic System (MAARS) Mark IX security robot that served as a host the cortical stack backup chip and thus temporary body for Lieutenant Miles "Tails" Prower. It was succeeded by a total body replacement made by Zenith Defense Industries, informally known as Cy-Fox Unit 01 after the MAARS Mark IX was terminally damaged by Metal Sonic.
