The Crystal Sword also known as the Legendary Sword and Ancient Sword is an ancient weapon that was created and crafted by the four Ancient Gods since ancient times and has been used from there previous wielders to combat evil forces and creatures. The sword was activated in the forest by turning blue awaken from its slumber and pass it on to Madeline making her the 5th wielder of the Crystal Sword as her signature weapon.
Appearance[]
The Crystal Sword is a double-edge blue crystal blade crafted with a brown guard handle and a pommel at the end of the handle. It also has a ricasso which Madeline can guard herself with her blade and a yellow circle in the middle which appears to be a built-in compass.
Origin[]
The creation of the Crystal Sword is unknown, but it has been said that it was created and crafted by the four ancient Gods since ancient times and forged the sword with a few pieces of blue crystals, rocks, a bit of small magic liquid being put in to it and a small amount of lighting that will give the sword a unique capabilities. The Crystal Sword is often seen to choose or accept its master by its own will, a hero who has to gone through great trials that test their courage and strength to prove them worthy of wielding it. However, Madeline was stopped by the three rock guardians when she was about to start on her first adventure after they took her sword away and ask her to pass a simple challenge to prove her worthiness of the Crystal Sword.
The Crystal Sword does not harm its owner of the sword. When one of the demon wolfs took the sword and attempted to kill Madeline with it. The sword struck Madeline's abdomen without causing any physical harm to her.
When the sword is pick up, the sword electrocutes or shock anyone who attempted to used it and the sword can only be wielded by a chosen hero who is worthy of the sword strength and can not be use by anyone. The sword can only trusted its master and the innocent people who have a kind and a gentle hearts in their souls which was proven on five occasions.
Abilities[]
- Electrokinesis: Madeline's Crystal Sword can harness and generate the power of electricity by summoning lightning in the sky or clouds. However, the sword itself can lose its strength and energy by using too much of electricity or projectiles attacks and the sword will not be able to use any projectiles attacks again for 24 hours.
- Sonic Slash: The blue slash is a mid-range attack that came from her sword and it can slash her target by pushing her opponents towards anything behind them.
- Sonic Slash Barrage: Upon on the sword strength, this technique fires a barrage of blue slashes at its target when Madeline swings the Crystal Sword rapidly. However, whenever she uses the barrage of slashes, it makes her arms completely tired. Madeline can also used the technique by swinging her sword around while she spins in place like a tornado. Doing it for too long can cause her to be dizzy for a bit. Madeline mentioned twice that she doesn't used the ability that much.
- Blue Meteorite: The user charges towards a target, injuring them and knock them unconscious. However, it can cut right through anything without harming the opponent. Madeline is even capable of changing direction regardless of the speed at which she is traveling in.
- Lighting Wolf Buster: One of Madeline's powerful attacks from the tip of her blade. Madeline can unleash a energy wave in the form of a blue wolf made of lightning that engulfs a target with its massive jaws which this move increases its strength. However, Madeline has yet to master this skill which she struggles to used its power.
- Blue Tornado Wave: While performing this technique, Madeline jumps into the air and swings her Crystal Sword by creating a blue tornado which forms a blue vortex around the target. However, the move doesn't harm the opponent but it can launch them in to the air stunting them for a short time when they land in the ground.
- Glow Sword: The sword can light up on its own in dark places such as caves and forests.

- It is said to be based on variety of swords. from a popular cartoon show Adventure Time or the Master Sword from the 2017 video game The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild.
- The Crystal Sword may be a reference to the Epic Swords of Wonder from the Fortnite character Skye in Fortnite Battle Royale which the sword be rewarded in Skye's adventure pack.
- The Crystal Sword can be used in two hands, but its also good enough to be used in one hand as well.
- The sword is almost the same size as the Sword of Acorns in the Sonic the Hedgehog Archie comics.
- The Crystal Sword can't be used by any type of gods despite being created by the four ancient Gods.
- Disco is a fan of Dragon Ball, Sword Art Online, Bleach, One Piece and Fire Emblem series which give him the idea to create the Crystal Sword even so he loves characters with swords that are cooler.
- The Crystal Sword doesn't have its own scabbard like most sword wielders. However, Madeline has a brown backpack which has a scabbard attached to the back of her backpack to keep her Crystal Sword in place.
- The Crystal Sword once turn into a gold color sword during Madeline's ultimate fight with the demon brute. Its possible that it could be the sword true willpower similar to Zatch Bell's Gold Spell book from the manga series.
- The Crystal Sword is not meant to cut through steel.
- The Crystal Sword is lighter whenever Madeline picks it up or used it.
- Madeline keeps her Crystal Sword in a frame on her bedroom wall while she is not using it in some of her adventures.
- The Crystal Sword doesn't produce any weather control abilities.
- The Crystal Sword shares the same name with the weapon from the popular Cartoon Network series Adventure Time and it first appear in the first Fionna and Cake episode.
- However, Fionna's sword is actually a Ice sword which is the true name of the sword giving to her by Ice Queen who disguise herself as Prince Gumball in order to kill Fionna by luring her to a trap so she can get close to Prince Gumball.
