Crimsteel (クリムスチール Kurimusuchīru) is a advanced Hedgehog Badnik from a Alternate Universe, serving as the Replacement of Metal Sonic in that Universe. Once the commander of all Badniks in Eggman’s arsenal, the Sonic and friends of that universe defeated him and Eggman in their latest scheme. While Crimsteel managed to survive and land outside of the fight, Eggman perished due to the Eggmobile exploding, scarring Crimsteel to this day.
Despite being cold and ruthless to Mobians, he isn’t totally evil now, but will ally with villains if he either gets a reward, or if the alliance has the possibility to restoring his creator. Despite that, he cares for Badniks and other robots, and to a lesser extent, Mobians with no home/family.
Appearance[]
Crimsteel is a reddish Hedgehog Badnik with orange Sclera and 5 large quills and a pair of 3 smaller quills on his cheeks, all sporting greenish stripes similar to Shadow’s red ones. He has green shoulder pads, and also has a orange circular depression in his chest, which cover a X-style pattern too. His wrists consist of a black color with a green outline, which feature orange energy crystals also seen on his knees. Lastly, his metallic shoes consist of a green color-scheme except for the tips, which are orange in color.
Personality[]
Crimsteel’s most prominent trait is his cold behavior. To everyone except Badniks, he mostly ignores them if they are talking, and will also attempt to stay away from the company of others. This behavior gets him a bad social reputation, which he mostly doesn’t care about. His other prominent trait is his ruthlessness. No matter who stands in his way, he tries to make his foes unable to fight back. He mostly won’t hesitate to fight, but sometimes he does either spare them or try to avoid the battle if the opponent is overpowered.
Despite that, Crimsteel isn’t really that evil, and if you manage to somehow befriend him, he will open up a bit, revealing he has quite the caring nature, especially towards his small group of Badniks he rescued in his Universe. This behavior is often ignored, since he has a hostility towards Mobians. This behavior will be notorious more and more if Coldsteel manages to accept you as a friend.
History[]
Before Crimsteel’s creation, Eggman was having quite the problems. Aside from Sonic and his friends, it was tiresome to be leading all of the Badniks himself. However, that’s the time when his mind came up with something: Eggman did have a old prototype of a Robot in the shape of Sonic to serve as the hedgehog’s rival. He could use that prototype to create both a true enemy to Sonic, and a Commander for his army, and thus, Project Crimson started. During that time, he only sent his robots and Badniks, confusing Sonic and co. on why Robotnik wasn’t coming out. Soon, after 3 years, Crimsteel was completed, and began his job as the commander. During half of the year, Crimsteel commanded the armies, and while he and Eggman did get stopped, the Badnik did his job as a commander really well. However, that wouldn’t end well..
During one of Eggman’s greatest schemes, Crimsteel played part in it, helping Eggman in important missions and doing his usual job of commanding Badniks. However, soon, Sonic and friends arrived to stop the doctor alongside Crimsteel from sucessfully causing the Lava Reef zone from doing a eruption of sorts . Eventually, a battle began. As Crimsteel was taking hits from Sonic while also striking at him, Tails and Knuckles went to stop Eggman from taking the advantage and defeating Sonic, but as Tails flew to the doctor, A Buzz Bomber grabbed him, with another one holding the fox at gunpoint. Seeing this, Sonic pushed Crimsteel aside, and charged towards Eggman, eventually spindashing into the mad doctor, causing him to fall onto the ground. Unlike the Sonic we know and love, this one seemed to have been fed up with Eggman himself, and as Eggman attempted to call for Crimsteel, who was temporarily deactivated by a hit on the head, Sonic kicked the doctor into a lava fall, ending his life. Crimsteel got activated by Eggman's screams, and was shocked, and distraught. Wanting no more fighting, the badnik flew to Eggman's HQ, feeling incredibly bad.

Powers and Abilities[]
As any Metal Sonic, Crimsteel possesses the ability to fly and keep up to Sonic using his Turbo Boosters, Jet Boosters hidden behind his legs, which are enhanced to be able to go at incredibly fast speeds, which is essential in keeping up with the enemy. One of his other iconic abilities is that he can control robots of the Eggman Empire. No matter which Eggman, their robots can be controlled. His powers aside, Crimsteel does well at hand-to-hand combat, and combined with his speed, Can do multiple hits. Another ability of his is his Chest Beam. Once he gathered enough power, Crimsteel can charge up and fire a green beam of energy, able to smite anyone if not avoided or blocked in time.
Weaknesses[]
Despite his power, Crimsteel possesses weaknesses. His Turbo Boosters are very flammable, and if hit, could lead to a explosion. Another weakness is that he can only catch up to Sonic, thus meaning that any faster being is able to outrun him and beat him up. His chest beam has a weakness too, since it requires for Crimsteel to charge enough power for it, and is vulnerable while doing so. Last but not least, his loyalty to any Robotnik could even lead to him sacrificing his life to prevent anything similar to his Eggman’s fate from happening.
Relationships[]
Dr. Eggman[]
No matter which Eggman, Crimsteel is loyal to them, just as Metal Sonic. Ever since his Eggman died, he did some attempts to find anything that could revive him, but to no avail. However, Crimsteel would be happy to work with any Eggman, and would even offer to help command their robots. This however gives him a weakness: he would sacrifice himself to save any Eggman, hoping that they don’t suffer the same fate as his.

- Crimsteel had a previous appearance made in the Lowpoly Sonic RP in Roblox. This appearance now serves as his presumed “Classic” version.
