Chronological Chaos is the fifth (and possibly last) main, numbered episode in SolarBlaze's episodic fanfic series, Knuckles' Chaotix: Elements of Power. It's meant to pick up exactly where the fourth episode left off.

Plot

Note: This story and its plot are currently in planning stages. As such, it has not been finalized, and many of it is subject to change.

This story is going to be centered around the past of the Elemental Goddesses (Scorch, Splash, and Slush). Around the time they're celebrating their 9,001st birthday, they're going to reflect back on the incident that led to them getting sealed up thousands of years ago. Not very long afterwards, Splash ends up having a flashback of the conflict that she, the Chaotix, and company had with Mephiles the Dark sometime ago, during the events of Elemental Chaos. While also taking his time travel powers into account, Splash then states that she finds it eerily suspicious how Mephiles seemed to know so much about that incident (despite the fact that it was never mentioned to him before), and comes to the realization that he might have had something to do with it. With that said, she and the others decide to use Tails' invention, the "Tornado Time Twister" to travel back into the past in order to get to the bottom of it.

Planned Features

• The Goddess' past will be delved into, as stated above.

• Syndra will be properly introduced, thus explaining her reason for traveling into the past.

• Mephiles and Iblis, after their defeat and imprisonment in Elemental Chaos, will be returning one last time. By what means, exactly, is currently unknown.

• For the first time in the Elements of Power series, there will be two different endings; both which will determine Solaris' fate, and whether or not the events of the past stories will have occurred.

• This will be the first Elements of Power story since the first Christmas Special to not feature Luna or the Parallel Goddesses (Volcana, Oceana, Frostina, etc.).

Trivia

• This was originally meant to be Syndra's debut story, until SolarBlaze decided to give her an early, guest appearance in the second Christmas Special.

• Should Solaris be erased from history, Mephiles' story arcs in Robotnik Strikes Back (along with The Last Story in its entirety and onward) will have never happened.
  • As such, this is the reason why the none of the characters made any direct mentioning of Mephiles or Iblis during the second, third, or fourth Christmas Specials, just in case SolarBlaze decided to make that the canon ending.
