Attacks that have a chance to induce paralysis in an enemy, occasionally preventing them from moving and decreasing their overall speed. It is primarily Electric-aligned attacks that fall into this category; however, there are exceptions.

Paralysis interacts differently with a few genetic abilities;

  • Those with the genetic ability of Limber can not be paralyzed through electrical means. Crippling attacks to the spinal column can still paralyze them.
  • Those with the genetic ability of Guts will still feel the full effects of paralysis, but they will experience a roughly 50% increase in their physical strength as well.
  • Those with the genetic ability of Quick Feet will still occasionally be unable to move when paralyzed, but they will not suffer from the overall speed drop.
  • Those with the genetic ability of Resolve will still feel the full effects of paralysis, but they will experience a roughly 50% increase in both their defense against physical attacks and their defense against energy-based attacks.
  • Those with the genetic ability of Marvel Scale will still feel the full effects of paralysis, but they will experience a roughly 85% increase in their defense against physical attacks as well.
  • Those with the genetic ability of Runic Absorption will still feel the full effects of paralysis, but they will experience a roughly 85% increase in their defense against energy-based attacks as well.
  • Those with the genetic ability of Synchronize will still feel the full effects of paralysis, but they will afflict their attacker with paralysis as well (if the attacker can be affected by it, depending on their own genetic ability).
