These are characters who are dinosaurs--warm-blooded, sometimes feathered reptiles most popularly known from the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods. They include theropods, the usually carnivorous bipedal dinosaurs such as raptors and tyrannosaurs; the sauropods, known for their long necks; and the ornithischians, such as the stegosaurs, ankylosaurs, triceratops, and duck-billed dinosaurs.

This category should not contain pterosaurs/pterodactyl, any of the fully marine fish-like reptiles, crocodiles, lizards, extinct mammals, or dragons, as none of these are dinosaurs nor have they ever been considered dinosaurs.
