Carson Annihilator Phoenix

Carson Annihilator Phoenix

The Carson Annihilator Phoenix is the upgraded version of the Annihilator. It trades one speed point for one boost point. This allows it to accelerate faster and hit harder than the standard car. Its maximum boosting speed is increased by 6 mph, but its cruising speed is decreased by 6 mph as well, making boost a much needed aspect of the vehicle. Then again, when one considers that the Annihilator's handling while boosting is one of its best attributes, it follows suit that more boost would make it even better.

Carson Fastback

The Fastback has a decent top speed and great acceleration for a vehicle of its tier and handles well through corners. Its Speed boost is its handicap as it handles best when drifting without boost. Nevertheless, it handles well at top speed, giving it supremacy on highways. Though it looks rough it can still outperform other cars. Perhaps the best part of this car is its strength as even at 70% speed with no boost it can withstand full contact with same way traffic. Even when colliding with walls and other stationary objects, it seems to be able to either achieve a Driveaway or simply bounce off. In either case its strength rating of 5 doesn't quite do justice to the car's remarkable ability to survive nearly anything.

Hunter Takedown 4X4

The Hunter Takedown 4x4 is a Monster Truck with enough strength to match its looks. It is the final of the strength orientated vehicles in Paradise City as well as the fastest. The 4x4 can run headlong into smaller traffic multiple times and not be wrecked. This monster is an ideal Takedown vehicle especially when the player needs those high target amounts of takedowns in the later Road Rage events. It is also useful to use it just watch the chasers bounce off of the Takedown 4x4.

Krieger Überschall Clear-View

The Krieger Überschall Clear-View is the upgraded version of the Überschall 8. The upgrade is similar to many of the others applied to extremely fast cars. It simply trades its speed and boost statistic bars. After the Cagney update was released, using Boost Chains with this car will trigger a sonic boom. While the bump in boost may seem attractive, there is quite a large difference in the handling attitudes between the Clear-View and the standard Überschall 8. The Clear-View is much more prone to understeering and is also very adverse to drifting. Therefore on balance, it is much easier to use the standard version for almost any purpose.

Carbonuberschall8

Krieger Carbon Überschall 8

The Carbon Überschall 8 is a carbon variation of theÜberschall 8. It now sports a chrome shaded exterior, carbon fiber body work and a boost type conversion from Speed to Stunt. The Carbon Überschall 8 differentiates from its brethren by trading 2 Speed and Boost points for 2 Strength points. This is unlike the other carbon vehicles as they received additional points in every area without sacrificing anything. The Carbon Überschall 8 is actually more well rounded despite the loss in the Speed and Boost statistics.

Carson 500 GT

The Carson 500 GT is a vehicle equipped with Speed boost. The Carson is almost statistically identical to theJansen X12, but its feel is different. While the 500 GT has even less low-speed grip than the X12, it has a little more high-speed maneuverability than it. The car has very sharp and responsive steering which makes it a challenge for beginners, and the acceleration is also great. To keep this car under control, it is recommended that one keeps boosting up to speed as much as possible. Once the 500 GT is rolling, the grip is excellent and the player should avoid stopping as much as possible. The vehicle has so much rear torque, that if you aren't accelerating in a straight line, your rear tires will spin out on you.

Jansen P12 Track Package

Jansen P12 Track Package

The Jansen P12 Track Package is an upgraded variant of the P12. It has the exact same statistics as the original P12. It is slightly more effective in races.

800px-Hunter Racing Oval

Hunter BRT Oval Champ

The Hunter BRT Oval Champ is the upgraded version of the Racing Oval Champ. It trades one speed point for one boost point to increase its maximum speed. This helps with the cars acceleration and gives it a higher maximum speed making it more useful for Race events. Problems of the original Oval Champ such as the drifting capabilities and a low cruising speed means disengaging boost around turns is now even more dangerous.

Watson Burnout Roadster

The Watson Burnout Roadster is the upgraded version of the R-Turbo Roadster. Little has changed besides the paint job, which has been branded for Burnout 2, and the 1 statistic point taken from speed and given toboost. Its increased top speed makes it better in races where it can now compete with the LM/Track, but remember that it is even less efficient at brawling with its reduced cruising speed and even hit and run tactics are risky.
