This voting thread will add a new policy concerning the nature of demotion and how a staff member can lose their position if inactive for long periods of time.
The rule will go into the corruption policy as follows:
- If an admin, moderator, or bureaucrat is inactive for over a month without valid reason, then he/she is automatically susceptible to immediate demotion.
- However, if said admin, moderator, or bureaucrat publicly explains their reason for inactivity beforehand (either in the form of a thread or blog post), and the reason is deemed valid by the administration then the above rule is considered null and void.
- If the admin, moderator, or bureaucrat returns less than two months after their demotion, they are capable of skipping the recommendation process and going straight to election in order to gain their position back.
This is a voting thread.
