Well I think we should have a disclaimer for it at least. We may know it's bad but think abput people don't really care about somethings they say anymore. We should censor it or at least use it only in roleplays.
I think that censored profanity is ridiculous, it makes you look like a complete idiot, and everyone knows what the hell you're trying say, so it defeats the entire purpose. I think that we should disallow swearing on mainspace altogether, and allow swearing in chat, as it is only available to registered users who are assumed to be over the age of thirteen.
Agreed.
I'm going to assume "damn" and "hell" are allowed though, correct?

I was going to say "if your mother is fine with you saying it, it is allowed," but then I realized my mom lets me say anything. Hue.
But yeah, damn, hell, piss, crap, frick, all those lower class swears are fine.
I honestly thought frick was a bootleg swear

Honestly, here's my theory: If it appeared in Shadow the Hedgehog, it's fine.
I do not support censorship by any means, however I do see how it can be necessary. I'm of the opinion that children cannot/will not be sheltered forever, therefore they'd learn such language from... well, somewhere. On the other hand, I'm not entirely sure if this would be the best place to pick up profanity, given that it's a Sonic wiki (no offense). This is mostly due to the fact that if, hypothetically, a child does end up learning profanity and blaming it on this site, it would be, needless to say, unbelievable for the parents and pathetic for us.
"Little Timmy, where did you learn the C-word?"
[High-pitched adolescent voice.] "Sonic Fanon Wikiii."
"... Where?"
In spite of that, however, I do support adjusting the rules on profanity. In the very least there should be a limit to what words (forgoing what's already allowed, of course), but how many times they can be used. No one wants a fourteen year old delinquent to spam the wiki with random swears with no rhyme or reason.
