@Smash
The first part about users is something that should be obvious to anyone who is elected to be an admin. I see no reason for it to be explicitly defined in the policies.
My response to each of the parts to that section:
- 1: Why should admins have to monitor every disagreement between these users?
- 2: This is an admin duty, not something that belongs in the general policies for the wiki. It's also something that should be near-instinct for any normal educated human.
- 3: Derp
- 4: What is this, I don't even. You either stop fighting or you get banned. Whatever happens elsewhere stays elsewhere. It should not be defined in the policies like this, for it makes this wiki look even more childish than all the recolors.
- 5: Also derp
Now, about the second section for elections. I believe that these need to go in a separate document that explains elections and the process properly, not in the main policy document. I would be happy to discuss them here, however I do want to move them.
I apologize for any attitude in this post, and it is not directed at any individual. I'm not having a good day so far and this is honestly how I feel about these.
