So as I'm sure you all know, the recent Featured User interview has been severely delayed. That is my bad, due to extenuating circumstances on other sites and in my personal life. But I'm pretty sure that it's common knowledge that this has happened before- a bit more frequently than any of us, myself included, would like- and that while I never intend for it to be the case, it could very well happen yet again.
Up until now I had been relying on Skull as a "backup interviewer" of sorts, to take the reigns when I couldn't. However, Skull has since become indisposed due to responsibilities in his personal life, and my inability to properly multitask has once again caused contention among the wiki. While I do take pride in having this job and contributing to the wiki through it, even I recognize that if I can't handle the job due to being idisposed, I shouldn't keep the wiki waiting.
Due to both this and Skull's impending departure, I'm writing up this thread as a means to another User(s) willing to act as an additional interviewer, to replace Skull and to take up the job when I'm unable to. Given that having just one additional interviewer does not properly account for the unpredictability that is life, I am suggesting that we find at least two or three Users who can take up the job when others are indisposed.
There are no official requirements or restrictions on taking up the job; all you really need is experience with basic wiki coding and formatting, an ability to impartially interview any and all wiki members, and a general knowledge of wiki activity in order to select nominees. Some general experience on the wiki would also be a nice bonus. So if you're interested in lending a hand, feel free to leave a post.
