It wasn't really until our bot, Christobor, threw off a couple false positives and marked/deleted a bunch of pages when I realized this, but it seems like most people get on our wiki post their pages, and seemingly forget about this place until they are emailed about their page getting marked.
When you think about it, it all makes sense, most users here post a page, and nothing generally happens unless it is really good or really bad. So, they just forget about the wiki because there is no reward for joining and posting your stuff on it in the first place as they've just figured out.
Now, what I'm proposing on this thread is two three things, first, the instalment of a Quality Review Team, a group of -1300 users who make an official judgement of a page's quality and provide tips regarding how to improve the page, and at the same time produce blogs on how to improve characters, for example, selecting powers, or designing a good story. We the admins will be selecting and deciding who is part of this team, of course, but if you're interested, please message me here and we'll consider adding you.
Secondly, look around here, here, and here once in a while and if you see any new names, give them a hello on their message walls, even if it is a simple "hi how are you," it'll be enough for them to remember to come back and know that this place is worth their time.
Lastly, and unlisted because I think everyone should be aware of this, be courteous and polite, I understand some people might get on your nerves, but some people here are new and they should be given as much patience as someone you're more acquainted with, it isn't that hard really.
Oh, and before I forget, finally, and I'm sorry for making this post too long, we have a Sonic Fanon Wiki Twitter that has gone dead for the last week or two. I plan on using it for posting announcements such as posts like this and also for upcoming awards ceremonies and the like, so if you could please follow that if you use Twitter, and if you'd like to feel free to get notified when we post something.
Anyways, that's all for now, thank you for reading!
