Trivia

  • The dial numbers are no coincidence; 106.1 are the dial numbers of WBLI, a real life Top 40 adult contemporary station that broadcasts out of Long Island, New York (Eastward Island in-game) and plays adult contemporary music from the 1980s to the present day. In addition, both stations have Brian West as their imaging voice.
  • This is the favorite radio station of Amy Rose and Cream the Rabbit, and the second favorite radio station of Tails.
  • This is Shadow's least favorite radio station.
  • At one point, during a cutscene Amy is seen singing "Tell It to My Heart" to herself in her car.
  • "Bad" by Michael Jackson is featured in Dr. Robotnik's character trailer.
  • This is one of two radio stations in Sonic Adventure 3 that is a parody of a real life radio station, with the other being E.C.'s Beatz.
  • This is one of the default stations in Amy's and Tails' vehicles, with the others being The Club Hall and The East Dust respectively.
  • With the exception of Daryl Hall & John Oates, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Don Henley, and Ne-Yo (who are from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Gary, Indiana; Kentwood, Louisiana; Gilmer, Texas; and Camden, Arkansas respectively), all of the artists originate from either New York or the United Kingdom.
    • Coincidentally, Spears and Jackson are dubbed by many as the Queen and King of Pop respectively.
      • Despite this, many also argue that the real Queen of Pop is Madonna, who later appeared in Sonic Adventure 4 on the Planet Pop Radio station with her song "Into the Groove."
  • This is one of the two radio stations in SA3 that does not broadcast from within Empire City, the other being E.C.P.R., which broadcasts from Bonkers in upstate Empire.
  • "New York Minute" by Don Henley is the song that inspired the game's subtitle.
