Ultimate Lifeform Prototype 3.05 Blood Erasor Sonic Flux, or just Blood, is the main character of the Random Fight/Fusion Saga series by BloodSonic1. He is also a character in the Will the Echidna's fanfics by Flashfire212.

Appearance

Blood appears as a red hedgehog with blue streaks and green tips on his spines. His skin and muzzle appear blue, while his eyes are bright gold-yellow with black scalera. His gloves are purple with black fingers, and he wears aqua-green pants and blue shoes with black platforms.

Alternate Form

In certain media, Blood appears somewhat differently. While his scalera gain a lighter gradient closer to his pupils, little else changes about his colours. His outfit is what truly seperates them, with his gloves being white instead of black, and he wears green rings around his wrists. His abilities and powers also act differently in this form.

History

The Creation Myth

The universe began with 3 Gods - Solaris, Chaos and Gaia. Together, they created the world and it's facets. Gaia created the land, the people, the animals and the water to sustain everything. Solaris created light and heat, to guide the lives Gaia had made. Chaos created power, to drive and hold everything together. The lives of the planet grew strong and numerous, and worshipped their Gods for centuries.

However, while Chaos and Solaris were content with the people as they were, Gaia wished they would give him more of their adoration. He was not content with sharing the credit for the lives he had created, and attempted to take their worship. Due to Chaos' Energy permeating all of creation, however, Gaia could not intervene as a God. This caused a battle to begin between the 3.

As their battle waged on, Gaia was slowly consumed by the darkness in his heart, and eventually, he was defeated. Solaris reached into Gaia, and pulled out what light was left inside him, naming it Light Gaia. What remained of Gaia was no longer truly a God, and became the monster known as Dark Gaia, who fled to the planet. The people did not worship the creature who appeared before them, but ran in fear and disgust, and Dark Gaia's rage shattered the planet.

Chaos and Solaris knew he would not stop, and allowed Light Gaia, who was also not truly a God, to go down to the planet and battle his darkness. With Solaris' sun to his back, Light Gaia fought Dark Gaia, and sent him to sleep inside the broken planet. Chaos, using his energy, called on the people through his Master Emerald to offer 8 gems to infuse with his power, which became known as the Chaos Emeralds, which were used to seal the planet, along with the two halves of Gaia.

It was through this event that the planet's own darkness became manifest, growing in strength in a domain outside the influence of the Gods, and took a body, naming itself Erebaan. He turned to the heavens and shouted "I am not like Gaia. I am without pride and ego. Bring me to your height, make me a God, and I will rule the domain of Darkness which you cannot touch." Knowing he would keep his word, Solaris shone his light on Erebaan, and the shadow became a God of Darkness.

A new peace covered the planet, ruled by a new trio of Gods, who were worshipped. This peace was not to last forever, as Dark Gaia once again awoke, and shattered the planet again. Knowing Erebaan could quell the monster, Solaris asked him to calm Dark Gaia, and Erebaan took control of it. With the fight seemingly avoided, Light and Dark Gaia returned to the planet, just as the Chaos Emeralds were used to close it again. But quickly, Dark Gaia broke free, and crushed one of Chaos' Emeralds.

Erebaan turned against his former allies, and a new war broke out. The power of a God and a Monster was not enough to defeat the Sun God and the God of Chaos, however. Dark Gaia was once again sealed in the planet, and in return for shattering the planet twice, Erebaan was shattered to 3 pieces and scattered through time.

Erebann, before he was shattered, saw a future where these Gods would be defeated, and vowed that he would return then, and destroy the very thing they sought to protect.

Defaran and Blood

Somewhere around 10,000 years before the present day, the first shard of Erebaan, Defaran, appeared, who embodied the pure power of the former God of Darkness. Due to the actions of Sonic, Shadow and Silver, the Sun God Solaris was unable to intervene, and Defaran subjugated Chaos with his power, making Chaos Energy his own weapon. He tore through the planet, before a group of scientists who used magic and technology interfered, sealing the being away into a Chaos Emerald. Knowing such an object would not hold him long, they decided to build a body to keep him locked away.

Defaran became known as 'the Demon of Chaos', and after 6000 years of prison in an Emerald, the magic placed on the Demon broke down, and he was freed. The Techno-Mages were ready, however, and sealed the Demon into the 6th of their 3rd generation of beings - BloodSonic. They believed he was the best option for this powerful creature, but had mistakenly not activated Blood before sealing the Demon in him. Defaran took control, and destroyed these Techno-Mages, along with all the experiments that came to face him, scattering the other 3rd Generation beings across the planet as Erebaan was through time.

After this, the being known as Blood finally began to wake up, and the cores inside him activated, sealing the Demon into his own core. Blood frequently conversed with the Demon, asking him what Defaran had done, and over the course of 4000 years, the two came to know each other like friends, even brothers.

Will the Echidna storyline

Book One: The Beginnings

Having met Will in the past due to Will time traveling, Blood kept an eye on him as a child, often seen wrapped in dark robes to avoid being seen. He stopped Knuckles killing Leon the Lion, before telling what he knew.

Book Two: The Sickness

Blood, his wife Jamie, his son Azure and best friends Joineth the Saiyan-Hedgehog and Vicious the Dark found Chance "Clawz" Cat unconscious and dragged him back to the Isle of Blood, where they normally lived until he healed. They then accompanied him back to the Forest of Light where Blood had them split up to find Eggman's robots, having seen them enter the forest before them. He single-handedly destroyed the large Egg Chopper robot that was attacking Will and Crystal the Cat, to both of their surprise. Clawz then told them about a base where Eggman had built a Mecha Blood, Mecha Vicious mk4 and Mecha Joineth. Enraged, Blood led his friends and family in destroying the base while Clawz and Crystal went with Will. He then saved Will again, Chaos Controlling in before Metal Sonic could kill him destroying the robot before Chaos Controlling Will first to Maddy then to Tails with Maddy and Kyle.

Abilities

Original Form

Blood's power comes in the form of 4 'Cores'. These cores each contain a different type of energy, and can only contain and utilise that type, though raw, generated energy can be transferred and translated between cores. These cores cannot generate energy beyond a certain rate, nor can the different types of energy be used in unison. The cores appear in a triangle formation, with the 4th Core in between the first 3.

The powers Blood has in his unfocused state include:

• Flight, by using energy to create a force that pushes oneself through the air
• Enhanced physical strength
• Enhanced durability, to the point of shrugging off several large blasts
• Enhanced stamina, being able to remain vigorous even after hours of battle
• Enhanced speed and reflexes, up to running speeds of 87Kph

Because the cores can only generate energy so fast, the energy can be transferred and focused to a single core to enhance the total output of power of that Core. This often seems like a transformation, but is not, as energy is being focused, not enhanced. The cores are as follows:

1st Core - Bedlam

The first core sits atop the triangle, and it's power is based on Chaos Energy. The output of this core alone is nearly 3 quarters that of a Chaos Emerald, and when utilizing this core, Blood is able to perform various Chaos techniques, including:

• Chaos Control
• Chaos Spear
• Chaos Oblivion
• Chaos Shroud
• Further enhanced speed and reflexes
• Lowered stamina and durability
• Further enhanced physical strength

2nd Core - Shadows

The second core is based on the Heartless, and stands to the bottom right of the triad. This core has the power of a large Heartless, similar to a Darkside, and can be used to access the World of Darkness, transporting people through Corridors of Darkness or Heartless into this world. Focusing power through this core allows Blood certain techniques and enhancements such as:

• Shadow Blasts
• Dark Unlock (Can either unlock darkness resting in one's heart, or transform them into Heartless if they surrender to it)
• Shadow Movement (Becoming a shadow, or inhabiting a shadow to alter it's movement into a more physical state)
• Further enhanced stamina
• Further enhanced physical strength
• Further enhanced reflexes
• Lowered durability
• Lowered speed
• Aversion to light
• Weakness to Light-Element

3rd Core - Corruption

The third core sits at the bottom left of the formation, and is a Core of pure Phazon. It is a highly contained core, preventing it from corrupting the other Cores and overrunning Blood's system with the substance. When power is focused through it, Blood gains the following abilities:

• Phazic tendrils (Able to create and control tendrils of Phazon)
• Corruption (Can overrun an opponent with Phazon, which can disable, control, or even kill his victim depending on who it is)
• Further enhanced stamina and durability
• Further enhanced speed
• Lowered reflexes
• Lowered physical strength

4th Core - Demon Shard

The fourth core is actually the soul of Defaran, held inside Blood. The other three cores surround it, and suppress him. This core is unique in that it generates a vast amount of energy, many times more than the other cores, and acts as the bulk of Blood's durability and power source. When power is focused through this core, Blood gains far greater abilities, though typically avoids doing so due to some sense of pride.

• Chaos Control
• Blazing Blue Insignia - A shard of Erebaan's power, this Insignia grants Blood power over blue flames that he can create at will. These flames can only be controlled by Blood, and they are the only flames he can control.
• Vastly enhanced speed and reflexes
• Vastly enhanced physical strength
• Vastly enhanced durability
• Lowered stamina

Alternate Form

In his alternate form, Blood still retains his 4 Core layout, however, the cores are only based on Chaos Energy, are constantly limited, and can be used in conjunction due to their compatible power. Instead of focusing power through a single Core to enhance his abilities, Blood can increase his power by 'breaking' the limits on these Cores one by one, cumulatively increasing his power, but reducing his durability.

In addition, while he lacks Heartless and Phazon powers in this form, they are replaced by Spirit Energy, allowing him certain general Soul Reaper powers such as Kido. However, due to his lack of skill in performing these techniques, he can only perform Kido that he knows the incantation for. Currently, he only has access to 11 Kido techniques.

His basic abilities in this form include:

• Chaos Control
• Chaos Spear
• Chaos Shroud
• Chaos Oblivion
• Blade summon - An aqua-green, lightning bolt-shaped sword made of energy, similar to a Diviner from Riviera: The Promised Land
• Concordia Ventus - Blood performs a continuous spinkick, which whips up a tornado that constantly bounces his opponent around causing damage.
• Aer Infusa - Blood charges energy around his body, before dashing forward with a large red aura that injures target he hits.
• Lux Acuta - A small, aqua-green projectile that travels forward in a vertical zig-zag.
• Vulnus Caelestis - A large wave of dark green energy that Blood fires by swinging his sword to the ground. It acts similar to Ichigo Kurosaki's Getsuga Tenshou, however, it can only be fired on the ground.
• Enhanced physical strength
• Enhanced speed and agility
• Enhanced stamina and durability
• Flight, by using spirit energy against the air itself, creating an invisible platform to stand on, leap off, or skid against.

Form - Limit Breaker

As Blood breaks the limits on his cores, he changes shape somewhat, and gains incrementally greater stats. His eyes become purple with a white-light grey gradient scalera, his skin and muzzle are a lighter blue, his fur becomes a darker red, his streaks become green, and the tips of his spines gain points in multiple directions. His gloves change from purple and white to green and black.

Form - Finibus Fracta

When Blood breaks the limit on his 4th Core, his appearance changes again. His skin and muzzle become a dark blue, his eyes lose their pupils and become a grey-black gradient, his fur becomes gold and his gloves become green with white fingers.

In this form, Blood's personality changes, taking on many of Defaran's violent characteristics and losing a lot of his joviality. His voice also becomes layered with a deeper pitch.

Blood's powers in this form are enhanced to a vastly superior degree, but loses his ability to perform Kido, having forgotten every incantation in this form.

Trivia

• Blood seems more inhibited than he lets on, as he has stayed off of any police, army or governmental record for almost 4000 years. This is possibly due to continuous travels, or some amazing covert abilities, but nevertheless, it is true.

• As shown in almost all of the fights he is drawn into, Blood appears to enjoy watching others struggle. This is shown when Zero and Ragiek fight, and when the Warhogs fight Team Asbalm - he sits back for a while then suddenly ends the fight.
