Ultimate Lifeform Prototype 3.05 Blood Erasor Sonic Flux, or just Blood, is the main character of the Random Fight/Fusion Saga series by BloodSonic1. He is also a character in the Will the Echidna's fanfics by Flashfire212.

BloodSonic History

10,000 years ago, there existed a pure evil and demonic being known as Defaran. This demon thirsted only for destruction and was extremely good at carrying it out. For many millenia, he roamed the universe destroying planet after planet. Soon enough, more than half the universe had been annihilated. A group of Technomages who had heard of this creature sought a way to destroy it. Many attempts failed, and thousands more died. Eventually, two beings from the future, engaged in a fight across time, stumbled upon his reign. They were the Omegan Zero and the demon Ragiek. Neither wanted to see their planet destroyed, so they set aside their time-fight and battled Defaran. Ragiek learned that even their combined power was nothing compared to Defaran. He figured out a way to seal him away, and with Zero and the Technomages' help, succeeded. They quickly learned, however, that he could not be sealed in an inanimate object for long. So they began work on a living artificial being to hold him. This was soon dubbed the "Ultimate Life Form Project" by the Technomages, as only an extremely powerful being could hold Defaran for eternity. After many tries, they learned that they needed demon and Omegan DNA to create a life form powerful enough to hold him. This spawned Prototype 3.05. After a successful transference, he awoke. However, something was wrong. Prototype 3.05's personality was an almost exact duplicate of Defaran's when they had programmed a completely different persona into him. They surmised that Defaran must have taken the opportunity to put 3.05's mind in the cage instead of himself. After a short destructive rampage, 3.05 attacked a nearby village. Zero and Ragiek, still leaving their fight on the sideline, left to fight him. After a lengthy battle, Ragiek hit 3.05 into a cliff head-first, knocking him out. A short time later, he awoke - Defaran caged once more. 3.05 decided he needed a better name, so decided on BloodSonic1 due to his red colour, ability to annoy the hell out of people just by talking, and being the first successful "Ultimate Life Form". Zero tried to return to his time again, but was stopped by Ragiek. It seems they had not finished their fight. As the two fought, Blood decided to sit and watch to see who would win. Eventually he jumped in after deciding "the fight was taking too long" and put Ragiek out. After this, a small part of Defaran's mind dripped into Blood's, causing him to seal Ragiek away in a box. Zero took the box back to his own time and Blood went on with his life.

Almost a century later, Flab the Demonhog, David the hedgehog and Jason the Sharkhog appeared in Blood's time. The three claimed that the timeline had been messed with by Team Asbalm, although Blood had no knowledge of their actions. Soon after, six members of Team Asbalm appeared and started to wreak havoc. Blood and the three Warhogs went to combat them, however Blood sat out to see how strong they all were. Even though they were outnumbered 2-to-1, the three Warhogs held their own. Eventually, Blood jumped in and took out three of Team Asbalm instantly. The remaining three took their comrades and fled, but not before Blood chased them to another time. He was led into an ambush, and the rest of Team Asbalm attacked him. Using the four Chaos Emeralds he had obtained in his time, Blood transformed to Hyper and fought the evil Team. Eventually, only one member of Team Asbalm still stood before Blood, but because of fatigue, he couldn't hold his Hyper state. The fight became uphill for Blood, but he still managed to pull a victory. Flab and the Warhogs finally showed up, allowing him to return to his time.

Recently, Blood has gone through a change.

During the unshown battle of Fusion Saga 6 (Defaran vs Vicious, Sonic and Joineth), Defaran was eventually defeated when Sonic became whole again, ascending to his LSSJ form. To avoid destruction, Defaran attempted to fuse with Blood, which allowed him the energy neccessary to survive, however, without the creator of the No-Time Zone present, it collapsed, permanently fusing Blood with his power sources - Defaran, Heartless and Phazon, ruling out his transformations, and knocking him unconscious temporarily. As the No-Time Zone collapsed, everyone in it was thrown back onto Mobius. Story continues in Corruption Saga

Appearance

Pre-Accident

BloodSonic is a red artificial hedgehog with blue streaks on his spines and grey-to-black gradient eyes. He wears a blue long-sleeved shirt, black pants, blue shoes with a black layer on the bottom, and white and purple gloves. Although he is over 4 millenia old, he has the voice of a 16-year-old, as he is immortal (he cannot age).

Post-Accident

After the accident, Blood grew a fourth spine. All four spines now point more upward. He is still red, however the tips of his spines are now green, and he retains his blue streaks. He no longer has any spines on his forehead. His skin and muzzle are now light-blue.

He wears black and purple gloves, and his shoes remain blue and black, however, he now also wears green rings around his ankles, which are pretty much just there for show. He also wears a black vest and aqua pants.

Will the Echidna storyline

Book One: The Beginnings

Having met Will in the past due to Will time traveling, Blood kept an eye on him as a child, often seen wrapped in dark robes to avoid being seen. He stopped Knuckles killing Leon the Lion, before telling what he knew.

Book Two: The Sickness

Blood, his wife Jamie, his son Azure and best friends Joineth the Saiyan-Hedgehog and Vicious the Dark found Chance "Clawz" Cat unconscious and dragged him back to the Isle of Blood, where they normally lived until he healed. They then accompanied him back to the Forest of Light where Blood had them split up to find Eggman's robots, having seen them enter the forest before them. He single-handedly destroyed the large Egg Chopper robot that was attacking Will and Crystal the Cat, to both of their surprise. Clawz then told them about a base where Eggman had built a Mecha Blood, Mecha Vicious mk4 and Mecha Joineth. Enraged, Blood led his friends and family in destroying the base while Clawz and Crystal went with Will. He then saved Will again, Chaos Controlling in before Metal Sonic could kill him destroying the robot before Chaos Controlling Will first to Maddy then to Tails with Maddy and Kyle.

Abilities

Blood uses all the traditional Chaos techniques as well as Chaos Oblivion, Chaos Shroud and several other moves he has created. Having lived 4000 years (possibly more) Blood has seen a lot of combat, and as such, is very adept in fighting. He has, possibly, the highest skill of any Mobian in existence.

Not only that, he has the ability to phase in and out of shadows, and create dark tendrils from his hand. These abilities come from his dark energy, from his Heartless side. Using Phazon, however, he can create blue tendrils, which are larger, have a bigger range, and deal more damage overall.

Forms (Pre-Accident)

Super

A basic form. It requires the seven Chaos Emeralds. In this form, Blood's fur becomes orange-yellow. His blue streaks become purple and his eyes become red. His clothes also change color. His pants become grey and his shirt becomes red, his shoes become red and orange-yellow. The hair at the back of his head stands up. In terms of personality, his Super forms are no different than his normal state.

Phazic

A while ago, Blood experimented with dimensional travel, and ended up in the Metroid universe. While there, he came across a blue substance called Phazon. After being "accidentally" infected with it, he gained this form.

In this form, Blood is at least 20 times stronger and faster than normal, his red fur becomes a deep blue and his shirt and streaks become light blue. The purple parts of his gloves also become blue.

His personality also goes through a change, becoming quieter (he rarely talks), but his mocking disposiition is enhanced, smiling or laughing at anyone who tries to challenge him or say they're stronger than him. Although he is more arrogant, he does not toy with people, going all out from the get-go, then holding back a bit when he proves stronger.

Heartless

Around 1500 years ago, the Heartless appeared on Mobius. They started turning others into them, as Heartless do. But when they tried to turn Blood into one, he was different... All that changed was his appearance and personality. His fur turned darker, his eyes became slightly redder and had a yellow pupil, the arms of his shirt and the purple of his gloves turned black and his shoes became slightly purple.

Blood's attitude is slightly different in this form. He becomes less talkative and off-the-wall, yet his arrogance grows. Other than that, he is pretty much the same.

Phazic Heartless

At times, Blood is able to corrupt his Heartless state with Phazon, turning him into this form. It looks almost exactly like his Heartless form, except his colors look more like his Phazon form. He is also very agile. His power has also grown greatly, partially because Phazon can be a very strong energy source, but also because of the dark properties of the Heartless part.

His personality is very different from both, however. He is very sly and can lie with the best of them. He likes to toy with people, no matter what the circumstance. He is a manipulator.

Defaran

When Blood uses this form, his personality completely changed. He becomes pure evil, psychotic and extremely egocentric. His immense power makes him almost invincible and his skill is slightly lower than it can be. Blood avoids using this form, due to the fact that the transformation could kill him. In this form, he gets a compulsion to open the No-Time Zone, which then releases Full Defaran.

Defaran's theme song is "Hail Destroyer" by Cancer Bats.

Full Defaran

In this form, Blood's mind is completely submerged, and he becomes Defaran. His skill and power is unmatched, making him next to impossible to defeat. This form can only be used in the No-Time Zone, and usually does get used. This form has only been used once, but was weaker in skill due to Mephiles forcing him out.

Defaran's theme song is "Hail Destroyer" by Cancer Bats.

TrueChaos

Blood can absorb offered energy from TrueChaos Will to ascend to this form himself. It's rarely used, but his experience and skill coupled with energy equal to all the different Emeralds in existence make this form one of the most powerful Blood has.

In this form, his theme song is "Sanctus Espiritos" by Within Temptation.

HeroSpark

This form is a totally different brand than any other Blood has. It looks similar to his Heartless form, except for colours. His red fur becomes lighter instead of darker, his blue streaks turn gold, and the extra spines that typically grow off the back of his head on his Heartless form are also gold. The fingers of his gloves become black and the palms become white. The arms of his shirt become grey while the torso becomes gold. His pants become a light blue-grey and his shoes take on the same gold colour as his shirt and spines. His eyes take on a blue tint.

Now how it is different. This form is not activated at will. It occurs spontaneously whenever Blood gets into a fight with someone of pure evil thoughts. Not only does this form happen on its own, Blood doesn't even know he uses it.

Other than appearance and power, this form is no different from Blood normally. It only serves to signify a pure evil presence.

Forms (Post-Accident)

After the accident in FS6, Blood lost all his forms from before. Instead, his Heartless and Phazon energies appear in his mind as different coloured versions of himself, and his chaos energies appear as Defaran. However, a fourth impersonation appears in his mind, appearing to be a Hollow incarnation of Blood.

Hollow Mask

In this form, Blood loses all his dark, chaos and Phazon abilites. In their place, he gains a different type of energy, which allows him to move beyond the speed of light for short bursts. It also allows him to create waves of energy, and gives him a new sword.

Cores

As well as the Hollow Mask, Blood found he was able to activate certain powerups by charging one of his energy sources - Darkness, Phazon or Chaos. These gave birth to 3 forms, the transformations being controlled by the purple in his gloves, which turn out to be part of his design, in case his creators needed to shut down his forms, they could be mentally going into the gloves, and shutting his power flows.

Dark Core

The weakest of Blood's Core forms, but it is still powerful. Augmenting the dark energy of the Heartless in Blood, this transformation changes the control devices on Blood's palms white, and the streaks on his quills black. The tips of his quills also turn black.

This power up focuses on Blood's pure power and speed, increasing how fast he can and will end a battle.

Corrupt Core

A formidable Core form that augments the Phazon energy in Blood's body. In this state, the control devices turn into red/blue gradient, and the streaks and tips of his quills turn an odd shade of blue.

The Phazon energy augmented by this Core state increases Blood's stamina and all-around strength to new heights.

Chaos Core

The strongest of the three core forms, augmenting Blood's Chaos energy and Chaos abilities. In this state, the control devices turn green, and the streaks and tips of Blood's quills turn purple.

By the power of Chaos, Blood's strength, stamina, speed and Chaos abilities are pushed to near-Super levels.

Blood's final and ultimate state. Information will be released, once the state is unlocked in Corruption Saga.

Trivia

• Blood seems more inhibited than he lets on, as he has stayed off of any police, army or governmental record for almost 4000 years. This is possibly due to continuous travels, or some amazing covert abilities, but nevertheless, it is true.

• As shown in almost all of the fights he is drawn into, Blood appears to enjoy watching others struggle. This is shown when Zero and Ragiek fight, and when the Warhogs fight Team Asbalm - he sits back for a while then suddenly ends the fight.
