Badniks are Eggman's robotic soldiers. They were built to do anything from construction to communication to warfare, and anything in between. Badniks have undergone multiple "generations" throughout Eggman's many campaigns. From the first animal-based models, to the more adaptable Egg Pawns and Flappers, to the Dark Gaia-powered Egg Fighters, to the Assault-class, Eggman has been making better and better ones since he started.

There are also special models of Badniks known as Super Badniks, named for their sheer power in comparison to normal Badnik models. As well, Eggman has been experimenting with Quasi-Badniks, hybrids of existing Badniks. His latest generations of Super Badniks though, are the Boss Badniks and the Iron Series. Boss Badniks are special Badniks that are like Quasi-Badniks, but combining Eggman's personal machines with basic Badniks, and the Iron Series are Badnik-grade Metals for every pest Eggman has on his hitlist.

Models[]

Models of Super Badnik that are unique to this universe are as follows

Mega Flapper: Eggman had Mega Motobugs, Mega Buzz Bombers and Egg Hammers(which are basically Mega Egg Pawns), so the logical next step was Mega Flappers. These floating weapons carry smaller Flappers on their wings and have a deadly turret on their bottom.

Dragoon Knight: The first model of Boss Badnik, these souped up Egg Pawns wield the Egg Dragoon's weapons, though smaller. They're built to destroy rodents, but still struggle against Sonic.

Viper Flapper: A Boss Badnik based on the Egg Viper, these special Flappers have laser firing tails and launchable spike circles.

Moto Driller: A Boss Badnik based on the classic Egg Driller, these heavily armored Motobugs have drills in place of their normal claws and a better engine.

Buzz Arms: A Boss Badnik based on the Big Arms, these powerful Buzz Bombers now have arms that can hold and slam Sonic and others, as well as spikes on their head and laser stinger.

Devil Chaser: A Boss Badnik based on the Egg Devil Ray, these improved Egg Chasers have two additional autonomous laser cannons and fire fireballs out of the returning backpack, and can put up a electric barrier.

Rex Dino: When Eggman looked through concept designs for his mechs, he found a dinosaur shaped one meant to be used during the Dark Gaia incident, and applied it to the Rex design. They are much tougher than Rexes and can generate a barrier with parts from their tail.

Grinder Scarab: Found in the same notes the Rex Dino was constructed with, there was a mech that rolled on spiked wheels. Eggman added those wheels to the Scarab badnik, and these were born. They are much faster than normal Scarabs, and can defend their held item better.

Egg Launcher Battler: The third design based off the concept notes, the Egg Launcher Battler is based off the Egg Launcher(V) with added punching hands and better legs, so it can fight even without it's missiles. As well, it's missiles regenerate.

Hawk Balkiry: A Boss Badnik created during the early phases of Iron Series deployment, these are the most agile Balkiry model, with powerful fans and jets making it faster and more agile than the Tornado, as well as a minigun in the beak for use alongside bombs.

Tornado Disruptor: Technically a Boss Badnik, due to it's near identical look to the Egg Wyvern, but that technically never existed. They're made to chase the Tornado and fire smaller variants of the electric darts for disabling it.

Egg Pawn-ABF Walker: These are the result of a commission job from a promising war vehicle engineer. These bear the class of Super Badnik despite having no direct AI, being walkers made to outmatch G-U-N's Big Foots at their own game. Each one bears two Egg Pawns who drive it, a assortment of missiles and a anti-personnel gun, fast enough to bother Sonic.

Iron Series: Badnik-grade Metal Series, there are as many differing types as there are annoyances on Eggman's list.

Eggman's Machines[]

Sometimes, Eggman decides to give his personal touch to a assault. He will do it in one of many machines, rarely reusing one unless he doesn't have the time to craft a new one. Team Dragoon have only come up against a few, such as:

Egg Dragon: Made mostly by Sage, this dragon-shaped craft was made using pilfered Ancient tech. It can spew out pure cyber energy to lock a person's mind in cyberspace while Eggman used the body for other purposes, and has a powerful blast field that knocks away materials used in buildings and people.

Egg Wyvern: A different machine with the same name as the old, this Egg Wyvern has wings similar to the Egg Dragoon and has various weapons, such as lasers from wing-mounted turrets, huge lasers from the maw, various attacks from the claws, wind blasts for chasing off undesired targets, a multifunctional tail, a cloud and storm creation device, and even the ability to mount to a special battleship and masquerade as a normal cockpit.

Grand Egg Hammer: Taking all the lessons he'd learnt from each and every Egg Hammer he'd ever made, Eggman created the ultimate culmination of the Egg Hammer line. This mech is gigantic and humanoid, going for a sleek design akin to the Super Eggrobo Z, and is equipped with four arms, two that are simply gigantic hammers, and two actual arms, alongside a snake-like tail that can grab opponents or the cockpit in a pinch to use as a hammer. The arms are mainly used to fling traps at and/or capture opponents to crush with the hammers, while the hammers are capable of making quakes with their strike force. During their brief alliance, Eror would upgrade the mech to send shockwaves when the hammers hit each other.

Egg Nester: Midway through the Team Dragoon Era, Eggman would look into his old concept designs for robots, and found a mech concept dating back to the Dark Gaia Incident. Taking inspiration, Eggman would use the base design, and combine it with Team Dragoon's data and the concept of a nesting doll, making this mech. It has four phases, each of which is based on a member of Team Dragoon, and armed with appropriate weapons.

Egg Zenith: Originally prototyped long ago, back when the Warp Topaz was still around, the Egg Zenith is a sword-wielding mech, armed with a electric ball generator, and sword drones that can be deployed from ports on the mech and sword. But when empowered by it's namesake, the Egg Zenith can use their many abilities in conjunction with the ones the mech naturally has, turning the mech into a massive threat.

Egg Adaptor: As one of the last creations Eggman made, it is the strongest mech Eggman ever created. It is built specifically to counter the Dimensional Heroes, with the finished and upgraded Dynamo Cage, the Adaptor Cage built into it's body, and armed with multifunctional guns on the arms, as well as being able to swap parts of itself with parts from other mechs. It is also loaded with failsafes and defensive measures to account for any tactic the heroes would come up with. Aside from that, it can also deploy Robot Generators to craft a robot army and Chaos Spires to build the Eggman Empire on the go, and can even traverse the dimensions. Orbot, Cubot and Metal Sonic were also upgraded to join Eggman in battle, equipped with weapons of multiple types, Adaptor Cages of their own and energy manipulation.
