Argus the Wolf, is a character who appears in The Legend of Fox the Brave. He is a Mobian gray wolf who lived in the time of the Ancients, and was an enemy of Redstone the Fox. Originally designed as a possessed victim of Sonic.EXE, this was changed in a recent remake. As of the series overhaul, Argus remains an antagonist, but is only mentioned in Redstone's Nightmare.
Argus is a tall, bulky, thick-pelted, dark gray-furred wolf with amber eyes
Argus is aggressive, mean, rude, arrogant, and stubborn. Proudfoot, his own son, describes him as bullheaded and the biggest fur-brain in the Worlds. His antagonism is mostly aimed at Redstone for unknown reasons
Before the Series: Argus' past before the series is unknown, but it's likely he grew up with the Gray Wolf Pack, and at some point, had a son named Proudfoot.
Redstone's Nightmare: Currently, Argus' role is unknown, but he is mentioned by Proudfoot as having made fun of Jagged Cliff for his death, which led to Proudfoot deciding to help Redstone, as this attitude bothered him.
The Dusk Wolf: Argus appears in the Prologue, unnamed, and gives Boulder a strange warning. He is later mentioned every now and then, and is said to have told Boulder, "We cannot change the past, but we can affect the future". He later appears in the Epilogue when Boulder angrily confronts him following the Alliance patrol's retreat. When Argus reveals that in the early days of Mobius that they didn't have the Spirits in the Stars to rely on, Boulder becomes curious and asks him who he is. Argus explains what happened to him up until his death, then reveals his name.
Argus was named after the "Argus Event" from Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood
Despite being aggressive and mean, Argus is apart of the Spirits in the Stars. This is because he was never truly evil
