The Aniverse a portmanteau of "animal" and "universe") is a locatuion that appears in the AngieYaz/RoseOfSharon reboot of the Sonic Underground television series, emigrated from the Bucky O'Hare television series. It is a parallel universe that exists outside of our familiar Universe. People are able to enter the Aniverse by way of a dimensional portal cleverly disguised as a black hole.
The Aniverse is populated by multiple species of space-faring anthropomorphic animals, humanlike beings and other creatures, most of whom possess technology that allows their ships to move faster than the speed of light. Common locations include the Outer Rim, the Star Wars galaxy in general and the Videogame Solar System among others.
