Anastasia The Hedgehog (AniDoodlez)

Anastasia The Hedgehog (アナスタシア・ザ・ハリネズミ Anasutashia za harinezumi?) is AniDoodlez's main Sonic OC.

Appearance[]

Anastasia is a slim blue-furred anthropomorphic hedgehog with brown eyes, and blanched almond skin that covers her arms, her muzzle, the insides of her ears and her front torso. She has small triangular ears on top of her head, six long quills on the back of her head, two spines protruding from her back behind her shoulders,[9] a small black nose, and a short tail.

Anastasia's appearance is very similar to that of Sonic's,[10] just with a few notable changes; Anastasia's figure is (obviously) more feminine and is thus slimmer than Sonic's, her fur is a slightly darker shade of blue than Sonic's, the six quills on the back of her head are longer than Sonic's,[9] and she has two short quills pointing downward on both sides of her muzzle. Anastasia also has two medium-length eyelashes on each side of her eyes, along with scars on her right knee, her lower left arm, her upper right arm, and across her right eye. The most noticeable difference between Anastasia's appearance and Sonic's is that she has a massive red bang that covers most of her eye (it can shift to either side of her face and thus cover either eye at a time), having one large spike pointing downward past her chest, and one smaller spike pointing upward at the top. Aside from those notable differences from Sonic's appearance,[10] Anastasia's eyes can also turn red whenever she's angry and thus more aggressive.[11]

For attire, Anastasia wears a dark grey sleeveless crop top, white fingerless motorcycle gloves with thin light blue rings in the middle of their cuffs, grey denim shorts, and red wedge heel sneakers with white straps; the sneakers' color is split down the middle so that its red on the inner sides and crimson on the outer sides,[9] light blue lights protrude from the front and back of the soles, and thin light blue rings sit in the middle of the sneakers' white cuffs (just like with the cuffs on Anastasia's gloves).

When transformed into Bedlam Anastasia (ベッドラム・アナスタシア Beddoramu anasutashia?) (after using the Dusk Emeralds), her proportions remain unchanged for the most part.[12] However, various changes include her blue fur becoming rusty red in color, her brown pupils glowing yellow, her hair bang and most of the quills on the back of her head (now with red ripped stripes, and minus the bottom two quills and the one quill on the very top of her head) pointing upwards, her back quills pointing up and outwards,[13] the small spikes on each side of her muzzle unfurling and becoming a pair of three spikes rather than of just two, dark grey markings appearing around her eyes, her teeth becoming more jagged, and the Dusk Emeralds fusing together and attaching to her forehead (being mostly hidden from view behind her bang). While the attire that she normally wears remains unchanged for the most part,[12] her gloves and shoes do become dark grey in color (with the gloves themselves gaining underside triangle-shaped cutouts while the holes on the top become emerald-shaped), the light blue lights on the shoes' soles become red in color, the white straps become grey, and the cuffs on her gloves and shoes and denim shorts become ripped and puff outward (with the thin light blue rings having completely disappeared).

Notably, Bedlam Anastasia's eyes can become completely black whenever she gets uncontrollably sad or angry, while also serving as a sign for a Dark Form within this one.

When transformed into Dark Anastasia (ダークアナスタシア Dākuanasutashia?), her proportions remain unchanged for the most part, and she still wears the same attire she normally wears.[12] Various changes include her blue fur becoming midnight blue (almost black) in color, her brown pupils become red in color (with black sclera), her hair bang becoming crimson in color and pointing upwards (centering, rotating, and laying itself over the quill on the very top of her head), all of the quills on the back of her head pointing upwards as well, her teeth becoming more jagged, and blue claws growing out from her fingernails.

Notably, Dark Anastasia's eye color changes depending on the emotions she's feeling, with red (and black sclera) representing anger or rage (as the form's default eye colors), completely white eyes representing sadness or sorrow, and any other random colors representing other negative emotions or mixed feelings.[14]

Initially, when Anastasia was evil,[16] was very ruthless and fierce, both of which entailed her being very tough and violent (showing little to no mercy); Ani was very focused with her profession at the time, willing to do whatever it took to get a job done. Aside from being cunning and ambitious as well, Ani was super aggressive (even in general), which resulted in her being cold, rude, and angry (short-tempered); all-in-all, Ani was a very anti-social person, which led her to also being bitter and vengeful (taking every offense against her personally).

Now that Ani has switched sides and turned good though,[16] her personality mostly took a complete 180: Ani has become pretty shy around those she doesn't know, worried that her evil past would turn people away...[16] Aside from that though, Ani has also become kinder, braver, more caring, and more protective; Ani can even be quite funny now too, but she's also developed a cocky side that seems to go hand-in-hand with her humor. Despite all of this new positivity from her persona though, Ani's aggressiveness (though not as extreme as it was before) still remains, still wanting to look tough, which has also led to her being quite stubborn (especially when it comes to something that matters to her). Ani has become free to express more of her emotions as well, with her short-temper still being a prominent one among the rest, and she can often times come off as a bit crazy because of this.[12][14]

Dark Anastasia[]

Whenever Anastasia transforms into her Dark form, it is done via negative emotions inside of her being unleashed uncontrollably, so Dark Anastasia is naturally very angry or even full of agony; while Dark Anastasia has no control over her emotions, she still has some slight control over her actions, however. As Dark Anastasia, Ani is way more aggressive than she usually is/can be,[11] becoming incredibly blood-thirsty with an urge to kill... Aside from feeling anger or agony, Dark Anastasia can be brought on by other specific emotions, such as sadness or sorrow, or general mixed emotions and other such negative emotions (as seen with her varying eye colors).[17]
