Amy Rose is one of the main protagonists in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. She is a twelve year-old hedgehog and the self-proclaimed girlfriend of Sonic, who often attempts to chase him down. Her debut appearance was Sonic CD, but she did not become a frequently recurring character until 'Sonic Adventure.
