Comic Synopsis[]
Get ready for the all new adventures of Nikki the Hedgehog and her friends, Starlight and Ryder, as they make their trip to Mobotropolis. What appears to be a relaxing vacation is only the beginning for these three hedgehogs. EXTRA: Mini comic featuring Petunia the Dragon in a shopping war for ingredients to make her famous dumplings.

Summary[]
The episode begins at Soleanna airport. Nikki, Starlight, and Ryder are loading their bags onto the conveyor belt, the flight screen changing to show the name of the plane they would be riding, as well as where they were going: Mobotropolis. Starlight carried a bookbag filled with things that would keep them entertained during the travel: Books, crossword puzzles, stuffed animals.
Before they left, Nikki’s boyfriend Vexx came rushing towards the group, him and Nikki sharing one last hug before the airport assistant reported that their flight would be leaving soon. Vexx handed Nikki a picture of the both of them, giving his final farewells as Nikki and her friends boarded the airplane to the new city.
Once the three arrived on the plane, Starlight and Ryder sat next to each other while Nikki sat across from them by herself. The grey hedgehog pulled out her phone and automatically put in on airplane mode, opening her Sonic the Hedgehog 1 phone app and playing it. She connected her headphones to her phone as the Classic Sonic music played in her ears, Starlight and Ryder simply reading silently to themselves.
The scene shifts to about an hour later, where the flight attendant is handing out snacks for everyone. Nikki picks up a pack of mini cookies, turning the mini TV in front of her. All of the stations were different from what she usually watched, meaning that they had entered the Mobotropolis area. On TV, there was a reporter talking about the new chaos emerald display at the local museum, and a picture of a blue chaos emerald appeared on the screen. Other things appear on the news as well, but they didn’t seem to really catch Nikki’s attention much. On the intercom, the pilot announces that they would soon be landing in Central City soon, and to put on their seatbelts. The airplane then lands, and everyone in an orderly fashion departs and goes to retrieve their bags.
Nikki is the first one off the place, running through the station to grab her bags while Starlight and Ryder call after her, asking the girl to slow down. All around them are several TVs, welcoming the new arrival of Mobians to the new land. Starlight and Ryder finally manage to catch up to their hyper friend, and the three of them exit the airport. Outside waiting for them is their hired escort, Saffron Bee, who has decided that she would give them a small tour of Mobius as well as the location they would be staying.
As the group decide to walk ahead of Saffron, the bee reveals a video communication watch, telling someone on the other end that “the three hedgehogs have arrived”.
