<p>I would like to revamp role plays by making a new roleplay that is more like pokemon then a roleplay. With the di gamedeveloper made and some custom templates. Right now I am unsure of how I can keep the game fair, but I will try to invite newer users first when I am finished. </p><p>Categorising archived roleplays by last year participated in. <p>Hey SFW people, I'm here to announce a new contest! </p><p>Let's create a mascot for SFW! It would be awesome to have something to theme the wiki over, and this would create some awesome activity on here. </p><p>Don't worry if you're not an artist, this contest will be about the description. Artwork will be created as a prize for the winning character. The character will be incorporated into the wiki's theme, including in common templates and messages. </p><p>The winning character will become the wiki's mascot for the season (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall), then we will run the contest again. </p><p>I will be picking the judges in secret, to be announced after they have voted on the result. </p> <h2><span class="mw-headline" id="Rules">Rules</span></h2>

• Do NOT create any images of the character
• Characters can have basic powers, but they must be something that can easily be represented in a still image
• All characters must be newly created. Do not submit characters that existed prior to this contest.
• All characters must have a highly detailed description of their appearance and personality. Be sure to include details about:
  • Body Type/Physique
  • Color
  • Species
  • Sex
  • Detailed description of hairstyle
  • Detailed description of outfit
  • Typical Temperament
• All characters must be a species that exists:
  • No "mixed species" like hedgefox
  • No species that only exist in specific fandoms

<p>Hey, guys. </p><p>The main page is stale because we have no interviewers available for Featured Article and Featured User. Article Spotlight is discontinued indefinitely until further notice. </p><p>So, we are accepting applications for the Featured Management Team. Basically, they would write down ten questions for Featured User and Featured Article monthly. They can discuss them in an exclusive Discord channel set up just for them in our wiki's Discord server. </p><p>When the month ends, one of the members will contact the featured user or creator and interview them privately within a private server or on other wikis. The idea is for it to take place elsewhere. </p><p><span style="font-weight:normal;">Please keep in mind that interviews should be posted into the wiki by editing </span>this<span style="font-weight:normal;"> and </span>that<span style="font-weight:normal;"> </span><span style="font-weight:normal;">by the 10th of each month </span>at the latest<span style="font-weight:normal;">. </span><span style="font-weight:normal;">Naturally, the earlier the interview is posted, the better. </span>Please refer to previous interviews to get an idea of what to ask; this has been going on for some time now. </p><p>In order to apply below, make sure you meet the following criteria: </p>

What should we do to celebrate?

<p>Hey, guys. </p><p>So, as the title suggests, the wiki's very own Discord chat is now available! </p><p>The decision was taken by a few of your administrators since the previous, vanilla chat was gathering dust for a long time. This server, in fact, was made by our ex-admin a while ago! The Discord server proves successful in <i>many</i> wikis, so this is an attempt to see how it goes in our community. </p><p>We get dozens of thousands of views each month with over one hundred users editing, so it's a shame casual interaction hasn't been doing so well recently. <i>Time is changing. It's about time we change, too!</i> </p><p>There are dozens of Discord features that are quite notable and practical. You can see them here. </p><p>We are aware that it might take a while to get used to, considering the previous chat was here for so long, but please give it a shot with an open mind! Anyone is free to join the chat and leave the server at any time! </p><p>Please let the administrators know what you think of this little change! </p>

<p>Hey, guys.  </p><p>This is just a notice to say that the SFW Summer Awards for 2017 are now running. </p><p>If you are not familiar with them already, I'll explain what it is. </p><p>The awards are bi-seasonal contests in which articles are nominated for categories so other people can review them. In the competition, people vote for their favorite articles and elect a winner. This is a great opportunity to get recognition for your articles that should not go to waste. </p><p>If you're willing to give it a try, click here to read the rules and the page itself so you nominate pages there. You guys should now focus on finding articles you believe are worthy of the awards and link them there<i>.</i> Have fun! </p>

<p>So as I announced on Skype, the SFW Summer Awards for 2017 are coming up next week, but there is one small problem I would like to have fixed before we actually begin voting.  </p><p>Last season, everything was smooth sailing until I applied the impromptu rule, "Users Forced Neutral". Here's what the rule means: <i>"When a user votes on a category with their character competing in said category, and if said character happens to be one point off from the final round or winning, said character will be placed in the final round or win the category." </i> <strike>I can't word that any worse, my apologies</strike> </p><p>So I figured to let you guys decide the fate of this rule. We will come to a consensus when 10 users vote either yes or no, and choose the fate of the rule. <p>...but I'll be back soon, of course. </p><p>I've already spoken with the other admins, but I felt like I should make a public announcement so it is clear for everyone. </p><p>In order to represent my country and school in a conference, I'm going to travel to New York City tomorrow to and stay there until the 15th, meaning I shall be unavailable until I'm back to my home country. </p><p>That said, speaking to over five thousand people will not be easy, so please wish me luck while I'm there. </p>

Some might say that the wiki is settling down, and others might say that the wiki is going on a downwards spiral. • In addition to Steam, we founded a Tumblr and a Twitter!

• Smash uploaded a major update to his fan game!
• Saren retired as chat moderator!
• Darkest was promoted to administrator!
• We tried to find our founder, Sonic101.
• We changed our chat policies to accomodate the removal of swears!
• We distinguished harassment from criticism in our new critique policies!
• We began setting seasonal skins.
• We added image rules!
• We banned recolors!
• We shortened policies!
• We added patrollers!
• We added the fanction namespace!
• We cracked down on stolen and recolored images!
• We implemented Christobor, replacing Maid-chan!
• We created surveys to know what you all where thinking!
• We set up a wiki improvement meeting on Discord!
• We did a confidence call on Hika and decided to give her a second chance! (you're doing great Hika!)
• We set up a community fan game and it died!
• We failed to implement a policy for inactive admins!
• We effectively replaced SFWBOT with Christobor!
• We added baseline QSTs to Christobor and put an end to cleanup once and for all!
• We proposed a rewrite for mod election requirements!
• The new community feature by Fandom gave us better awareness of our community. 
• Akrivus retired as administrator!
• Chames was promoted to administrator!
• Our rapid population decline plateaued and is now slowly reversing!

i wanna make a contest but i dunno if i should.

<p>Hello, everyone! </p><p>As you all know, not long ago, the community had voted in favor of the new policies regarding artwork in the wiki. The new rules are in effect and are being enforced. In a matter of days, the administrative team managed to shave off a lot of stolen artwork from the category for recolored characters. </p><p><u>Still, the team cannot do it without your help</u>.<i> </i><span style="font-weight:normal;">Getting rid of stolen artwork is a group effort.</span> </p><p>While you are browsing the wiki or messing around with the Random Page button, should you spot an artwork that you believe is suspicious and/or does not comply with the policies, <u>please do not hesitate to contact an administrator through message walls or Skype for review</u>. </p><p>This is to ensure the policies are enforced and this wiki becomes a greater experience for all users. </p><p>Thank you for your time. </p>

<p>As many of you have known or heard, I've taken a break, well now I'm pretty much retired. It is official. </p><p><i>I do however, have one request and that is for Wingsz to please get the hell off of the SU wiki chat, the admins are thinking you're some bot I made because you've been silent and online for no break for the last two months. I swear to fucking God if this is some ploy to get me banned from there so that I return, you are so wrong!</i> </p><p>Anyways, that's just a little update for anyone looking towards my return. </p>
