Per this thread, I'm starting a vote to remove the construction template, and any article protection it offers. This template allows lazy editing, causing articles to sit unfinished for years on this wiki. It's unacceptable.\n

I was looking through the long list of categories on this wiki and realized that a large number of them are categories for things belonging to a user, such as \"Category:Gamedezyner's stuff\". I was thinking maybe we could make a new namespace to keep these in, in order to make everything a bit more organized and easy to find. \n

Other than a stale construction template, these templates are the most worthless template on this wiki. They say \"Do Not Edit\" on the template. However, they do absolutely nothing to prevent unwanted editing. It's pretty much common sense that you aren't suppose to mess with other people's pages on this wiki. When you put these templates on your page, you are basically saying \"Do not edit my page or I will rage\". If I was a troll, I would specifically target these pages because they tell me not to mess with them in the first place.\n

So that begs the question: Why is do these templates existence? What possible purpose would we have for a completely useless template that is just begging for a troll to mess with our pages?\n
